Hello Havenites!
During this stage next stage, the effects from the previous stage of the event are still going on. As you can see from this IC post, things have come to a head at the school. The children who were imprisoned there for so long want to mete out justice to the Yao Corporation - since they can't get hold of them personally, they'll settle for the residents who have a connection to them to appease their anger and help their souls to rest.
They want all the residents who are currently working for, or have worked for, the Corporation in the past. This even means people who were brainwashed into working for them during the anniversary event. Not all of these people are widely known ICly, and probably very few of them will want to be sacrificed to some scary zombie ghost children.
That's why there's going to be a vote. Please vote as your character would ICly, not as you would like to OOCly. You may vote once per character. The vote with the majority consensus by Tuesday 6pm EST will be deemed to have passed, and the end of the event will be determined by this.
Please note, if the majority vote is that all Yao Corporation employees should be handed over, it does not mean that they had to have been ICly. It means that enough of them were handed over, or voluntarily gave themselves up, that the children were appeased. Similarly, if the majority vote is that they should not be handed over, it doesn't mean that some Yao Corporation employees may not still be sacrificed or decide to sacrifice themselves for the greater good. So please do not let the vote sway your IC actions in any way.

Regardless of how the vote goes, Cecil's going to go hang out with some dead children. If anyone asks, he'll tell them he's going to volunteer. WHY well now that's complicated and would probably a different answer depending on who he's talking to.
1) But if any YAO people would like to take the long walk with him, it's always more scenic with friends. ♥ AKA new allies.
2) Alternately if any YAO people want to be hidden or spared, he'll try to help them out, too. That includes all you fake not-YAO people who got mind-controlled into it. YOU'RE NOT REAL YAO ANYWAY GEEZ. get out you're not invited, regardless of what spirit children say.
3) And if any Anti-YAO people want to "force" him into / out of it, we can plot that! I am up for it. I'm planning for him to end up in the school one way or another so!
