Hello Havenites!

It's event time again. As previous stated, due to changes in the way applications and intros are being handled, as well as the pace of the game, this event is intentionally low-key in order not to overwhelm in the last month with two app rounds. However, there are still lots of plot relevant details to get hold of! It will be next month's event (April) which takes a nosedive back into personal horror.

I'm sure you all remember the horrible illnesses of a couple of months ago, when sickness and past incarnations of the characters were rife in the new housing area. When the medicine was delivered, a cryptic conversation alluded to the fact that this wasn't over and the sickness may return. In order to prevent this, a team of seven "friendly" Yao employees have been dispatched to administer a more permanent dosage. It's important to note that this is not mandatory, and characters are more than welcome to try and capture these minor NPCs for whatever purpose they want.

There will be an IC mingle post today, which is here, and on Saturday 22nd there will be another IC mingle and an OOC post, the content of which will be determined by how the characters choose to act towards the newcomers in their midst.

The minor NPCs are split up between the mod team (six in the helper account and one in the mod account), so if you have a specific question for one that you are threading with, please make sure to note which NPC you have a question for in the PM subject line so that the relevant person can get back to you, thank you!

If you have any questions, please feel free to let me know here. You may also use this post for plotting purposes!

is the van left behind by all the yao employees, and if so, is it locked? what would happen if someone went poking around at it?

So.... a bunch of Havenites stole the van. Is there any gas in it at all? If so, how long could they hypothetically drive it for.

do we know what kind of weapons the androgynous person is carrying? or should we find that out for ourselves? (hehehehee)

Excellent! Thanks.

Does the whole medicine dosage process have to be played out or can it be handwaved?

If the characters decide to stay inside their apartment for whatever reason, would the NPCs enter or otherwise make attempts to bring them out?

What happens to characters who went on Hiatus? Would they be given the medicine as well or would it be null?

Will a character die, if they don't receive the medicine?

How would the medicine apply to new characters in the game? Would they need it, just like the others?

Rohan canonically has a power that allows him to "read" things about someone he's talking to! would he be able to use this on NPCs to get information, or would powers like that not work at all on them?
fearguard: (that's not a good sign...)

So, uh. Koz is going to fight anyone who tries to come at him with Yao-Brand Meds. To the death. Instead of taking or being given anything they're putting out.

"Friendly" his butt.

I wasn't sure where to put this, but for anyone who has characters who are interested in the van, please comment here?!

Funny you should mention capturing an NPC, cause my character is planning to do just that. He'll want to take one or two vials of the medicine, he won't take it but he'll just keep it just in case. As for the NPC, he'll want to get information about Yao and for an antidote for the poisoned well. Would this be possible?

Well that's fine if there's no antidote, he still plans to ask some questions about Yao and their intentions and about a few things that piqued his interest.

Here's a dumb question that I realize might apply to a few others;

If a characters skin is too tough or is just tough enough in general that a normal needle wouldn't pierce it, how would they go about giving that character the medicine? I wasn't planning to make a thread for NPC stuff, but should prolly know how they'd do that haha

So how possible is it for someone to perhaps steal some of the medicine in the ensuing chaos?
