Hello Havenites!
As you can see from this IC post, the event has come to a rather explosive end. As mentioned near the start of the post, characters will experience flashes of vision or memory. These will differ depending if your character was one of the signed up ones or not, and you may pick one out of the following lists:
FOR CHARACTERS WHO WERE NOT SIGNED UP:
1. Witnessing a dreadful monster erupt out of the ground of a peaceful town (which some may recognise as Haven East) and begin slaughtering all the people who run screaming from it. It forces itself inside them and explodes them from within before devouring their souls for sustenance.
2. Many men are dragging stones in the old fashioned way, without machinery, and building them atop the graves of freshly dead people. They are building a well, they say, a seal on something that could kill everyone.
3. A miracle has occurred where someone dead has been returned to life. It's the most wondrous news of the century and the Yao Corporation are all to thank. It's Dr. Kite and his research into the Uzumaki. This discovery will make so many things better, so many families allowed to reunite after premature deaths.
FOR CHARACTERS WHO WERE SIGNED UP:
1. A fat, odious human with a snake's smile has stumbled upon your sigil. He wants to use and control you without any respect for what that could mean for his world or any other world. He plans to turn the humans to capturing you properly, so you must make a stand and attack first. Bursting forth, you devour all the humans you can lay your hands on, for the good of all.
2. The prison has been built and now they are bricking you in. From the deep you will help them control what no human should ever have control of. The Uzumaki will be reduced to paltry spirals that they will never truly understand and you weep for what will be.
3. The balance of nature is thrown out of control, people are returning from the dead, they are using the dead to power the revival, none of it makes sense any more. It's all pain and slavery and despair.
It goes without saying that this newly freed creature is not necessarily a good ally, but nor is she necessarily an enemy, that's for you guys to decide. In addition, the various memories received by signed up characters can be fitted together for further clues, so sharing those ICly and OOCly is encouraged.
As noted in the post, Teppei Kiyoshi exploded, and the player has now dropped the character following his death. His remains can be found and buried if anyone wants to, people may also bury the remains that were found when the lake dried up. In that area now is a fresh spring, with water that is untainted and safe for everyone to drink.
The housing spiral is open to the air again, but is still sunk forty feet below ground. Characters who are able to fly can get out easily, and the walls are scalable to anyone with good climbing skills. Otherwise, a staircase/ladders/ropes will need to be constructed and found for everyone else. In addition, all Yao surveillance equipment has been destroyed within the housing spiral and will not replace itself, meaning the housing spiral is now essentially a Yao spying blind spot.
Characters who signed up for the event will remember everything that happened while they were brainwashed, although all effects have now worn off. And finally, the creature from the well promised a boon, which will be within each housing block (even the ruined ones). Each character may have one small item from home, this may be no larger than a folding chair and may not be a vehicle or living creature. However, it may be anything else (although please bear in mind that writing rules still apply, so a book would be blank).
Some examples of acceptable things are:
-> One weapon
-> One chair
-> One packet of fresh pork chops
-> One CD player
