YOU SHOULD 999/VLR are two of the best visual novels available imo and Clover is definitely cute among.. other things.. SHE IS COMPLICATED

i'm usually the same way! but magi really captivated me and i couldn't stop reading it! good luck though, i'm glad it wasn't 400 chapters long so you'll be lucky reading it!

AH REALLY? i admit i did become frustrated with junpei when i couldn't leave that first room, which caused me to quit early on. i think i spoiled myself with clover, but she does seem like a character i'd like, BUT COMPLICATED CHARACTERS ARE REALLY GOOD!

YEAH that's what made me download the first volume because any time i find a decent looking manga it's always been running for ages!!

OH GOD I hate that first puzzle it still doesn't make sense to me.. the worst part of 999 is having to redo puzzles when you do other endings tbh, they fixed that in vlr by letting you skip puzzles you've already done. AND I admittedly used a guide a couple of times in 999 when I got super stumped but I got vlr the day it came out so I had to do everything myself.. it was a disaster

i'm really glad to hear that and the same thing happens to me aha, as soon as i see 300+ chapters i give up before i even start.

that's what happened to me, i just sat here like 'what am i supposed to do this is so confusing.' but i should definitely pick it up again! i'll admit you've made me interested in that! goodness, redoing puzzles will drive me insane but if it's for different endings, i'll at least give it a shot! aah, really? vlr looks so good but i figured i couldn't jump right into that without finishing the first. AHAHA did you finish it the first day? wow, that would've been difficult doing it on your own! guides are really helpful, i look them up all the time when i get stuck on games.

I actually like VLR more than 999 for a lot of reasons, but yeah you'll be lost if you haven't played 999! AND GOSH NO it took me like.. a week or so of nonstop playing to beat it
