HAVEN'S FIRST EVENT IS OFFICIALLY OVER!

As the dawn breaks and any survivors are left standing amid the corpses of their fellows, the hospital doors suddenly open and let in that rolling fog once more. Again, helpless, every character is falling into a deep slumber.

Just like that, all characters are awakening in their own beds again. The paranoia and fear has gone to leave them clear-headed again. Any character who died will have a vague recollection of the scent of copper and the sound of a moving train. All other characters will have a dreamless sleep.

Any character reviving, or who have been injured, will retain their wounds at a greatly healed rate, as though they have received medical care and have been healing for two weeks (so deep gashes are mostly closed, etc). The extent of any left-over injuries will be left to player discretion.

I want to say a big thank-you to all the players who helped to make Haven's first event happen. I hope you enjoyed it even half as much as I did.

-> OTHER NEWS

-> Having received some feedback about the pacing of the event, I am now addressing this officially. The game will continue to remain in a one IC day = one OOC day format, but all future events will be spaced out and staggered to be easier to keep up with. I hope this assuages any fears about the pace of this event.

-> A reminder that havenmemes can be used by anyone. The only meme that can only be posted by a moderator is the HMD. All other memes, including CR ones, can be posted at any time without approval.

-> Activity Check will go up at 7PM EST on Thursday 1st November. More information about the requirements can be found in the rules.

I intend to backtag as much as possible on this event, and try to catch up on everything I've managed to miss, but I want to thank you for your flexibility in considering how to handle the next events. I found it very difficult to get and stay involved the way I would have liked because my time zone is situated such that I should be sleeping during the daytime US hours.

I just want to give a big THANK YOU. You did wonderfully with the event. Not only were you fast with the npc and responding to character threads with settings info, but you put up posts promptly and just made this event a lot of fun as a whole! You made things interesting, and there were a variety of different clues and suspicious happenings found by different characters.

So thank you so much. This event was a blast, and I'm looking forward to the next one.

I want to agree with the last two comments. You did an awesome job with this event! As I mentioned on plurk, it was so interactive and a lot of fun. I really enjoyed interacting with both NPCs and you were so up on keeping track of everything that was going on even when you had other irl commitments. I appreciate all the work and effort that went into making this first event happen and I'm looking forward to what's to come!

Agreeing with all of the praise here! I also loved how suspenseful this event was; it's a lot of fun not knowing exactly what's going to happen instead of having it all detailed out beforehand. Really made things exciting! Thank you for all the hard work you put into it and into all that NPC work you did.
