Loyalty and ADAPTABILITY group coordination!

Alright, the issue of the Loyalty and Adaptability groups being stuck in one way or another was brought up on Plurk so I thought I'd make a plotting post to get things sorted out. There will be two threads to post in and figure out where we want things to go, and I've provided a summary of the issues so that we know what's going on.

Loyalty:

The outcome of this one is dependent on whether the prisoners escape or stay, and as no more than five people have escaped it's up in the air whether all the wardens are supposed to have died or not. There was also something discussed about a group effort in breaking free, but I'll let someone in the know explain this. All the prisoners except the one that escaped died, and all the wardens except the one tied to the escaped prisoners died too.

Adaptability:

There's an OOC deadline of 28th of November, 7 pm EST and only twenty people are allowed to pass, but as of present time only two people have officially died and we're nowhere close to even clearing the second stage. A number of people have been inactive as well which bloats the total count.

With that being said, let's plot! Do inform your friends of this if they're in either of those groups.

Update: The time limit no longer applies and characters will get the passed or defective tattoo depending on whether they clear Stage Three or not! That being said, the IC announcement remains the same so carry on, Haven's murderous ones. /o/

STAGE TWO - POISONED FLAGS

Yi (Eugeo-mun) and I have been talking, and Ciel and Eugeo are well-placed to help a good part because 1. they can make dispensable clones and 2. both have already witnessed friends die from the poison, so they're... PRETTY AWARE. The clones can spread warning too, Ciel can upkeep at least two to tell others as well.

THAT SAID while both are physically fit and trained for combat even without their old powers, they're not superhuman so the lake flag and those several hundred feet up are going to be problems. TELEKINETIC PEOPLE, and others! Anyone willing to pitch in? It'll at least move everyone closer to stage three, haha. Since no one would even have IC knowledge of stage 3, if stage 2 isn't cleared by the time the deadline rolls in.

I've been trying to coordinate a group escape effort forwarded by Masaomi Kida. The idea is that Masaomi and one or two people he recruits will stage a big, bloody fight in the cell to draw in the more concerned wardens. Once the cell door is open and the wardens have their attention focused on the fight, other prisoners can force their way out of the cell from the other direction in a quick burst.

So far, Lenalee is a very likely candidate for concerned warden! Others are fine too. Mu and Izumo are attempting to get Shiemi out of the cell first. (Though I think Mu's mun would be interested in Mu dying or at least not getting out, yes/no?) I'm still hoping for characters who'd agree to be part of the distraction fight, but if more prisoners want to escape/wardens want to end up dead/etc. that would be great too.

I decided yesterday that even if I don't get other volunteers for the distraction fight, I'll post the thread for the escape tomorrow. Now that this plotting post is up, I might hold back a day or two though.

I'm not expecting Masaomi himself to escape. He'll drag out his distraction as long as possible to keep as many wardens away from the prisoners trying to escape as he can. If any wardens would be interested in beating him into submission/killing him/whatever works! I'd appreciate that too.

just chiming in to say izumo is going to be making an effort to STAY OUT OF THINGS. her only concern here is making sure shiemi is kept safe. (yeah, that hopeful THIRD OPTION flew out the window the more time continued to pass.) if kida doesn't get his fight, she promised to do what she needed to do just to make sure shiemi is kept safe.

even if it means smacking him across the face to get some wardens' attention.

yes lenalee can definitely open the cell door unless anyone else is interested in doing that?? it'd be great to have more than one warden involved if only because lenalee would be more likely to open the door knowing that she has back up but /o/

oz can technically use nanoha's power to grab a flag and bring it to them without touching it thanks to a spell. he's canonly used to throwing chains around and dragging things so I don't think it'd be a problem for him to discover this ability... Oz would also like to say that magical girls have really great powers wow

Would you like to thread or handwave? We are running on clocked time, and if Oz and Ciel meet she would definitely warn him. I know some players are planning for their characters to die via flag, but so far only 3 out of 10 are sure to have been nabbed so there's still a hefty 7 left. Sooooooo... should be okay?

I can see Nami getting past stages one and two but she'd absolutely refuse to kill other people in stage 3. She might defend herself, that's about it. I mean what kind of assholes get you to kill each other for their amusement /shakes fist insert rant here

So basically, I think then that she'd die in round three and you can consider her amongst the dead. Whether someone in particular wants to murder her or she gets taken out by collateral damage, I am open to plotting for this \o/

LINE UP HERE FOR A KILLING OPTION IN BATTLE ROYALE

Laharl has no qualms going a little nuts during the royale, since hey, people don't die when they're killed, what's the big deal? RPG logic.

If you want to have your character force choked, insides crushed, head popped, punched or kicked clear across the arena, or perhaps just telekineticly have a knife thrown in their noggin' feel free to ask!!1 I'm going to make a top level in the royale for him tomorrow to get that ball rolling since I'm pretty sure the flags will be covered?

he's basically got a sort of immortality during this too so think of him as an easy option for it if you want one

he'll be totally casually about it if they meet after this as well, which might make for some awkward cr

I guess in the end what we really need to know is how many people want their prisoner characters to successfully escape.

BATTLE ROYALE

So, Minato would normally let himself get killed in stage 3 since he's that type of self-sacrificing person- the only problem is that he's currently possessed by a Noah that allows him to selectively interact with things, and said Noah also hates humans. And obviously Minato has been pissing him off by avoiding people so that he won't wind up killing someone, not knowing that stage three is all about killing people. Which the Noah really wants to do.

Oops.

Because the number of characters that would rather be killed is really high compared to the number of characters that would actually kill, I thought I'd offer to kill off some characters too! Here's a full list of what the Noah (Joyd) can do:

1) Bursts of Dark Matter. Anyone hit by this will get their skin covered by pentacles before their bodies solidify and break. Notably, Joyd can also reinforce his punches with Dark Matter.
2) 'Choose'. Essentially, Joyd can choose what to interact with and this applies even to attacks; if he doesn't want it to go through him it won't unless it's an Innocence.
3) 'Reject'. Joyd can also reject what is in his path, which means he can manipulate pressure to cause blasts and he can also suffocate his opponents. If you don't want your character to suffer any scars and still die, this is a viable option since he just takes pleasure in killing humans and seeing them freak out.

And in terms of CR, you can definitely expect Minato to come apologizing afterwards so there's that. Clearly this is how S.Links upgrade in Haven!

Edit: Also open to being killed, but only by selected people (Hi Ciel, Allen).

From my understanding, we've got a little bit of prisoner vs warden drama going on with these plans. I'm not sure who all is dying, but I can say that Rin as a Warden will be getting killed by accident :T

Alvin's got the power to heal any injury. Any injury, even if they're on the brink of death, provided he remains in contact with the individual for long enough. If you're looking for your character to survive stage two and head into three, I can have him heal your character up? Just point me in the right direction, since I'd like for him to... actually be of some use haha...

RE: Stage Three

I'm not too fussed about whether Alvin lives or dies. There are circumstances as to why he won't want to kill people, but he might either have someone kill him, or off himself if the numbers need smoothing out, because hey, they'll all be back, right? IDK I'M DEFINITELY OPEN TO THIS.

EDIT: Scratch that Stage Three stuff. I figure that since Alvin's ability is strictly healing, and he's not going to be doing any killing himself, I'll be killing him off in stage two instead!

Tyki and Allen are going to compete to get flags, whereupon at least one of them will be poisoned. I posed a question to Blue about whether Madoka's gloves would protect Allen from the poison but I haven't received a confirmation yet. Assuming they do, Allen will attempt to save Tyki, but it's up to Desh whether or not Tyki dies, and if Desh is okay either way, I'll probably RNG to determine whether or not Allen bungles his way to healing him.

But hypothetically, they will have had two flags, it's just taking a little while to get there. I'm about to tag Desh back now.

During the battle royale, Allen will probably get killed trying to stop Minato from asploding.
