It's nearly event time, Havenites!
I'm very grateful to have my helper moderator on board to help run this, and everyone who has characters staying behind will see![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
havenhelp making posts and tagging about. In order to help keep the communities from getting too cluttered or confused, the two strains of the event will be split between ![[community profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/community.png)
havenrpg and havenlogs.
All mod posts and player posts for the characters going on the rescue will be inhavenlogs. All mod and player posts for the characters staying behind will be in havenrpg. This is to try and help people keep track of the action for the part of the event they're participating in, and stop it getting too confusing. So please make sure you're posting in the right community during the event!
TIMELINE OF THE EVENT FOR CHARACTERS GOING ON THE RESCUE
Monday 19th November, 7PM EST
An IC mod post will be made in the logs community to detail how the event begins. This will be in two parts, which will be detailed in the post.
Wednesday 21st November, 7PM EST
An OOC mod post will be made to explain how things are progressing.
Thursday 22nd November, 7PM EST
A final IC mod post will be made in the logs community to detail the last stage of the event.
These posts have been staggered to hopefully allow more time for back-tagging and a slightly more relaxed pace based on feedback from the last event. Between these posts, player posts are actively encouraged, and may be tagged into by the mod!
TIMELINE OF THE EVENT FOR CHARACTERS STAYING BEHIND
Monday 19th November, 7PM EST
An IC mod post will be made in the main community to detail how the event begins.
Thursday 22nd November, 7PM EST
A second IC mod post will be made in the main community to advance the event.
In both of these event posts, various types of enemies will be described as attacking the city. Players may feel free to NPC their characters fighting these monsters without moderator approval, and make posts themselves between mod posts, althoughhavenhelp may jump in at any time!
An OOC post will be made by myself on Saturday 24th November, 7PM EST to conclude the event for both parts. As always, any questions or concerns are welcome on this post.
