Event: Group One

Hello, Group One!

Today is escape day, as you can see by this IC post. Memories should now either have completely returned, or be on the cusp of completely returning, meaning that it's time to break out and go and rescue those poor imprisoned fools in group two. AU backgrounds will be remembered when real memories break free, but as sort of like a dream. So, for example, if your character was a doctor in their AU then they will remember being a doctor but not necessarily the skills of how to diagnose a medical condition.

Within the post there are several sections, so when you reply, just put the number (or numbers), for what you're responding to.

During this section, players are welcome to NPC their own soldier fights. However, except for the players who received plot hints specifically detailing that the soldiers could be seen, they remain invisible to everyone else. Invisible, but not intangible. They can be fought and killed, and can kill in return, so good luck fighting invisible soldiers!

The rebel NPCs cannot come with the characters for the main rescue, due to their Citizen Chips being trackable. This means they will be fleeing during the escape. However, the other four Yao employee NPCs would join in the fighting on the side of the soldiers, and so are available to plotted with to plan either their escape, death, or capture.

For anyone who makes it out through the gates or over the wall, they will find themselves in what seems to be a nuclear wasteland. There are two main roads, one leading East and one West. The one to the West will lead back to the main town of Haven West, where the characters usually live, and once passed through the barrier they would be sealed inside again. The road to the East will lead eventually to the jail and group two. Both roads will take at least several days to traverse, so taking supplies from the town may be advisable.

Characters may take things from the town when they leave, not limited to food and water. If any character is killed, they will remain dead for the final week of the event. Players are welcome to make their own posts for days following this, and you are welcome to use this post for plotting! If you have any questions then please ask on the main navigation post, as this post will not be tracked so it can be used for player plotting.
