Hello, Havenites!
As you can see from this IC post, the death of Tony Chu (while he was possessed by Kite) has caused the more serious of effects to die away gradually. While the weather itself will return to the scheduled player-controlled weather, which can be seen in the sticky monthly mod post, the other effects will take longer to disappear.
The flood water will take a full two weeks to fully disappear, and the water level will gradually decrease in depth during that time until there are just a lot of soggy and water damaged buildings to fix up. The burst pipes and plumbing in the apartment blocks can be fixed by anyone with know-how, but they will not fix themselves and so the well will return to being the only water source until that's been done.
The well itself will remain flooded, with water right to the brim and trickling down the sides to feed a pool of roughly one meter in diameter, and calf deep. The water there will remain a dark, almost black colour, and will retain the taste of ashes. Anyone too close to the well who has psychic abilities or tendencies may suffer temporary migraines until further notice, although all the other effects will no longer occur.
Finally, on a non event related note, the applications for a new helper mod have now closed. Thank you to everyone who submitted an application, and I'll be contacting the new member of the team, as well as announcing who it is, later on this evening.

He can try, but the water will erode the wall much faster than would be natural and get rid of it within an hour no matter how high it was made.

Wow. That water isn't going anywhere near Wan's body and he may end up having to move the community garden back a few more feet over this. That well sucks.
