Hello Haven! This is Corinne, player of Diego "dino dick" Brando, bringing in a second character who actually has a shot at getting along with other people. This is Tuuri Hotakainen from the webcomic Stand Still Stay Silent!

The lowdown is that Tuuri's an academic in a post-apocalyptic world where only the Nordic countries survived a mutating rash virus that turns people into horribl(y cool) monsters. She's on a "research expedition" to "learn more about the old world" but is actually assigned to illegally salvage books to sell to rich collectors for a profit. She's an enormous fucking dork who really believes in the cover story and wants to Learn Everything She Can, so showing up in Haven is actually... pretty okay at first?? At least she's got interview subjects and books in Haven North once someone teaches her English...

She's living in apartment 28.2! My plurk is at spoilers, feel free to add if you're so inclined!

It is absolutely fantastic. I was drawn in by the art style too. Stayed for the hilarious range of characters and the bad ass baddies. Ugh, I can't wait to see how poor Tuuri handles herself in a place like Haven.

I actually got into SSSS fairly recently, so hopefully this goes okay! It's been so long since I was into a webcomic that I don't know what I'll do with myself when waiting for the pages to update, haha.

God. Not gonna lie. I've already decided that if I throw in a second it'll be someone who is sunshine incarnate just so I can be less grimdark on the entire OOC side of things.

Anyway, yeah, it wasn't until...last month for me? Something like that. I had it sitting on my bookmarks for a while but I didn't start pecking away at it until recently. In fact, I didn't bother catching up until I saw you and was like, "Oh, someone brought in Tuuri and I should tag- oh, right." Here's hoping no sudden retconjuration is cast in your way.

Oh god. Don't worry. It's like a comic occupational hazard. Anyone who's experienced it understands it. I once RPed a character only to discover that their bird was actually a figment of their imagination a few months down the road. (It's complicated, I overly simplified it.)

Anyway, plurk's being butts so I'm not going to bother doing it now, but you seem cool and I haven't experienced the wonder and magic of Jojo's yet, but I will eventually (I got people pushing me in that direction) so friending y/n/m/idk/I know you said do it if you felt like it maybe but I don't know, I like officially waving the olive branch in someone's direction.
