The hares are in extremely short supply, only one to be seen/caught every once in a while, so it would take a long time to build up a stable enough breeding population, but it is feasible to try.

However, all the (few) animals are very wild and skittish, so cannot be domesticated and unless kept securely penned/caged, would attempt to escape or attack.
