Event Sign-Ups
Hello Havenites.
Now as stated on the Activity Check post, this event will be a sign-up optional event. To not give away everything until the day of the event, here is the basic idea:
Characters who sign up will receive an offer from the Yao Corporation. If they agree to this offer, they will receive something of great value to them for a price. However, they also have the choice of throwing someone under the bus for this item and having that person pay the price. The price will be a personalized effect, which will be messaged to those who accept that price or get that price shunted on them. Note that this price won't be death and the characters will be ICly made aware of this.
The effect may be permanent at the player's discretion as well, though anyone who requests a permanent effect will be allowed to rescind the request if they aren't happy with what is personalized for their character.
In this sign-up, you are going to name an item your character wants and a person of close relationship to your character within Haven. The item can be anything that does not fall into the following limits:

Sign ups will remain open until April7th 9th at 7pm EST. The event will have two parts: April 8th 7pm EST will begin the first part and April 10th 7pm EST will begin the second part. The event will then last until April 15th.

-No extravagent vehicles. A motorbike is okay, an entire car or ship is not.Please note that this item must be highly desirable to the character, to the point that they would genuinely consider paying a price to obtain it. Go for something big, but not crazy because Yao isn't that generous. Your character will get proof that Yao can obtain this item for them.
-Must be something your character has owned, or will own in canon (if they are from a canonpoint where they haven't received the item yet.)
-No animals of any sort. 99% of all pets cannot properly survive in Haven West, so that puppy you want back so much is gonna end up dead if it comes here. Not even Yao is so cruel to put that on an animal.
-Cannot break the game. Time travel devices, for instance, are not acceptable. If you have an item you're not sure on, please message the mod account.
The more important part of this is the 'close relationship' aspect. "Close" is relative in this case - it can be an acquaintance, a friend, family, even enemy. Here are the ground rules:
-Before you list the character on the sign-up, you must get express permission from the player to do so. This is very important because the character on your sign-up may get hit with an effect. We don't want people coming to us saying you signed up their character without consent.
-One character cannot be put on two different sign-ups. Think of it like pairs, where a character can't be paired up with two different people at the same time.
-The person can be either a canonmate or a cross-canon CR. Think of someone your character either cares for, has only met, or hates. There's no exact limit of closeness that needs to be tied here.
-A character listed as a close relationship is not precluded from signing up on their own. So if Blake's close relationship is listed as Sally, it does not mean Sally can't be signed up separately for the event. What it does mean is that no one else can list Sally as a close relationship for their character.

Mu took the form of a True Fanalis once, when he was young, and went to the Fanalis homeland. This homeland is located in a different world from the one he usually lives in, which is connected through a great dark rift, and in the Homeland, magic works differently. The true form looks like this and they're lions from another world. I was wondering if he could get that ability (taking that shape) of his brethren in the Homeland, since he would have had it if he had been living there, or had chosen to stay there. It's sort of an ability that belongs to his race, but him and his brethren in the main world have been unable to take it because the magic in the two worlds are so different from each other. Quantity people can share, things like that. Since it's not an item, he could get it compacted into a shape of some thing (maybe to restrict it, it could be an item he has to have with him if he wants to change) or the other.

That said, this is perfectly fine. Diego will still be hit with an effect but he will not receive the item. If you want a reason for this, any attempt to damage the card past putting blood on it (like if he tried to rip it or take off the letters to use in place of writing for example) will be considered an offense to the Corporation. If that doesn't work/isn't something he would do, PM me and we can work something else out.
