Hello Havenites!
As promised, here is further event info for those who signed up. There will be no event mingle this month so those who signed up are encouraged to make their own posts/logs about this. Sign-ups are still open until tomorrow for those who are still interested but are undecided.
In the middle of the day on April 8th, signed-up characters will receive a note from the Yao Corporation on their bed in an envelope. The writing on this note, a very fine card, will not disappear. It will read the following:
As the card says, characters who receive this note must dab their blood onto their decided choice. Once the character is not looking at the card it will vanish. On April 10th the effect will occur for either the receiver or the person they shove the price onto.
Sign-ups for the event are still open until April 9th 7pm EST (tomorrow) for any late-comers. Those who have already signed-up will receive a message tonight detailing the effects. If you signed up already and don't receive a message by 9pm EST at the latest, due to any uncontrolled hiccups, please PM the mod account. All messages should be sent out by 8pm EST.

The Yao Corporation would like to offer you an opportunity to gain something you desire. However to gain this item, a sacrifice must be made. You must give up one of the three in order to receive the item. If you give up the item, you will receive nothing but peace of mind - however much of it you may have.
Sacrifice One to Receive Two:
1. Yourself.
2. [A person in Haven West.]
3. The item.
On the other side of this card is a picture of the item. We are ready to give you this item, but you must make your decision on what to give up for it first. The word 'sacrifice' is not literal, but there is a price to be paid. Nothing comes cheap.
When you have made your decision, mark the choice you make with a dab of your blood. Only one choice may be made and once made it cannot be undone. We will be taking the card back once you leave it for us unattended. You will receive your item and we will take the cost within two days. If you do not make your choice by then, the card will disappear and we will take your lack of answer as a decision. Do not make two choices, for we will interpret such an act as a lack of commitment and indecision.
We are a Corporation that rewards those willing to take risks and sacrifices. You can protect yourself and your friends, or you could gain something more. The choice is yours.
