howdy haven, i'm rift and brand spanking new to this game.

i'm joining with oliver queen, billionaire philanderer who spends his nights shooting arrows at other rich people. he's from the fairly recent cw adaptation of green arrow, suitably simply named arrow. cut from the same cloth as similar heroes, he spends his days pretending to be an irresponsible goofball and then spends his nights being a somewhat irresponsible vengeful hero(?). he's also kind of out of touch and socially awkward after spending years marooned on a strange not-so-deserted island.

he's been placed into apartment #3.002... so my apologies in advance to those who will have to put up with him.

anyways, it's a pleasure to be here and i look forward to playing with you all! if you'd like to add me, my plurk is shadowrift.

but yeah that's true, without the beard he's just not the same. i wonder if they'll make stephen amnell grow one out... that's when you'll know he's truly become green arrow

there was a whole stupid thing with jay and alan (and ted) that made them younger. with jay it's also the speedforce. in the 90s there was this awful arc where alan's wife kind of want cray cray about it, since she hadn't gotten younger along with him. i haven't read a lot of older jsa/all-star squadron/etc. in ages, so i'm probably way off base here!!! i mostly stick to the creepy crawly niche when it comes to current and re-reads.

haha yeah they always come up with... interesting... reasons why people don't age the way they probably should.

the evolution of ollie's beard will surely be one of arrow's most interesting story points

y, although i'm generally of the opinion that new earth folk probably age a little slower than people from our world. beside that, most jla members are like, 30-early 40s. anytime someone suggest they're under 30 i want to hit them. with a closed fist!!! like an adult!!

six episode story continuation, dragged out as slowly as possible. JUST LIKE REAL COMICS!!!!!!

even roy's getting up there in age these days... and the always curiously misnomered "teen" titans. but yeah they've all been around for quite a while now...

squeeze as much melodrama as possible as you can out of it. that's sure to boost ratings!
