Hi Haven! I'm Lou, and unless someone else beats me to intro while I am still typing this up, I will be kicking off this latest round of new characters and thus new intros by bringing you -- Superboy! Because just one Superboy is not enough for any game, right? ETA: Too slow!

This particular Superboy is the comics flavour, pre-reboot, which means he comes with a suitcase crammed with bad fashion choices, pop culture references, issues, ego and denial.

For those interested in the details, I'm taking him post Superboy v,2 #100, which is the point at which Clark suggests he live with the Kents, but before the Teen Titans run kicks off, so he is new to calling himself Conner Kent. To differentiate him from our lovely Young Justice Superboy, I'm going to stick with Kon-El as his name.

while he might be an embarrassment he can at least fly. which is like.... five billion steps ahead of what this one can do.

I fully expect every argument these two ever have to at some point come down to 'Yeah? Well, I can fly.' No matter what the original argument was about.

On that note, how identical do you think these guys are? Comics Kon varies on whoever is drawing him, but he bulks up considerably between his current canon point and his Teen Titans incarnation -- and it is the Titans Kon that YJ Conner resembles most. I'm in favour of writing that off as medium differences and having them be identical because I am pretty sure that would hurt both of them more, but am wondering how you feel about that?

i am perfectly a-okay with all of this! ahahaha. god i can't wait for these two to meet. it is going to be wonderful. and glorious and everything. yup.

I hope that the Young Justice cast bring popcorn to their meeting.
