New user + new character?

Hello new friends! I'm Icki and I am picking up Tatsuma Sakamoto from Gintama here at Haven, and I am both completely new to this website as well as to this community so if I seem a bit technologically challenged I totally apologize. There are so many amazing characters here that I am super excited to be playing with you all!

Sakamoto is kind of an absurd optimist with absolutely zero filter, and kind of a product of the super ridiculous series he's from. He's a lot of fun to play but I'm picking him up after a few years, so I am afraid I might be a little rusty. My plurk is fartbunnies but I recently signed up for it and I am still struggling to figure it out. Feel free to hit me up and chat! It's nice to meet you all~!

Sakamoto is also in room #4.001~! I apologize in advance, he's going to be a pretty loud and annoying roommate. ;-;

crying the sad thing is I did have Gintoki here for like... a day before I realized having him here was a Bad Idea and dropped him sdflhjksdj I am a colossal idiot. Your username isn't familiar, so I don't think we've ever played together, but if it helps any my Gintoki is [personal profile] silvershamurai?

LOL YES GOOD. You know what else is super fab though, Alvin is also voiced by Sugita huehue.

GINTAMA IS THE GREATEST WAY OF LIFE. EVER. EVERYTHING ELSE SHOULD PACK UP AND GO HOME TBH.

Ahhh I understand! Humorous characters in bad settings = bad. also, isn't gintoki SUPER afraid of ghosts hahahaha? He'd totally be freaked out 100% of the time. Are you up to date on the manga? Sakamoto just appeared and there was another super frightened Gintoki is super afraid of ghosts moment~! Thankfully Sakamoto is a dummy so he's just going to go through all of this with a grin on his face

there are a lot of characters voiced by sugita so like i don't know who sakamoto would confuse for gintoki tbqh i have never had this problem before

Aw you should read it! I know the manga is hard to keep up with but it's pretty great. And they didn't animate one of my favorite sets of chapters, the one with Yamazaki and Tama boooo~!

I may or may not use a variation of that as your first tag ok

Also, is now a good time to post an intro post? I want to post one at an appropriate time and I am just using the one from my application.

Yeah, I definitely will since I have no other options to obtain a Gintama fix (save for the second movie, please hurry up DVD/BR release).

I am 100000% okay with this, I'm just saying.

Hum hum, I would wait to put up an intro post, since there will be a log put up tomorrow in the log comm ([community profile] havenlogs) designed for introducing the newbies. You're definitely free to post to the network though, it really depends on how you'd rather do things!
