OOC Coordination for Group Two!
Since a lot of information has been exchanged, conclusions have been made and plans have been drafted I thought I'd go ahead and make a plotting post so that everyone in Group 2 has an idea of what's going on and then we can plot further as not everyone has each other added on Plurk.
So! First of all, let's review the info from the information exchange post:
Update (2nd September, IC character log):
- Minako found information about generators powering the barriers around Haven and the hospital in Haven East. Additionally, there's also a separate generator that keeps Stefan from saying certain things.
- Pascal found blueprints relating to a generator- it's not known yet what it does but it's 15 feet high and it can produce a lot of energy.
- Gilbert found a photo album that shows three things of interest: The first is a picture of the Great Wall of China in ruins, the second is a photo of Yao with baby Beth Yao* (The girl group 3 is supposed to kill) and the last one shows Kite** and Stefan together with a caption that reads 'With Stefan, Best Friends for Life'.
*Note that Stefan has spoken against killing Beth! This may come up again later on.
** This may be known to others as Edward recognizes him, but that depends on who talks to who.
- Kon found a short article talking about how the American government outlawed genetic experiments in 2011, which is followed by the mention of being 'liberated' later on. Mysteriously, the senators that made the decision disappeared...hmm.
- Minato found a diary entry dated 2016 mentioning something about Kite being turned into sea foam by Poseidon on his first trip to Ancient Greece. The year and specific country mentioned seem important, at least as it implies time travel.
- Sharon found what appeared to be a book of children's stories but far from it being innocent, the book contains a handwritten blurb about not doing what 'they' say even if they kill the writer like the writer's father. Given that the Yao Corporation is the hero here...yeah.
- Hubert discovered information about the soldiers at Haven East who appear to have very precise schedules and positions. As they also guard the hospital, this would help out a lot in minimizing deaths since some characters are aware of how dangerous they are.
- Edward found another set of blueprints, except this is for a smaller machine. What is horrific about it though is that when what he knows is combined with information from Hayley White, it becomes clear that everyone that dies is revived using the power of souls.
- Beast Boy heard from Stefan that Caroline sacrificed her fellow group mates to secure her own freedom and that he used his 'war machine' to kill a lot of people in the Yao Corporation.
- Alphonse found something related to Wei Yao. He has kidney disease and that's why he employed scientists to help stave it off.
- Finally, Touko found the plans of the hospital in Haven East. The most notable things are that Kite's laboratory happens to be on the second floor and that the rear wall is reinforced.
Update (6th September, Villain log):
As of this post, the library and certain parts of the town have been set on fire and a number of civilians have also died. Another notable thing is that some of the people were seen fighting with each other and they could not be broken out of it, as if they had been hypnotized.
If you like, you can check in with how your character's doing and what they'd be up to in between this time period and September 12th, which is when I'm assuming Stefan will finally help them to get the wagon rolling. As a note, there's matches near parts of the crime scene and no matches elsewhere.
Update (10th September, IC character log):
Minato sent a message to everyone to 'meet up' and discuss the happenings of the past few days, so you can also discuss how things went after, such as whether your character got more suspicious of some other person and whatnot.

Yeah she's willing to do almost anything that's asked of her within her ability. She can fight okay-ish but she's far from trained, and her main suit is the whole gather info angle anyway which as of now is officially going up in smoke.
However!
She does happen to be in possession of a rapid healing factor and a voracious need for information, so with all the books going up in flames she maaaay be staying in the library a little longer than is strictly healthy to try and save some stuff. She still won't be able to get to everything obviously but she is going to grab as much as she can carry in one trip. If there is something you'd like her to happen to have in her armful of books (not even necessarily a plot relevant thing) then drop it here and as far as I know it should be feasible, barring a mod veto c:

editing to add a PPS since it's probably worth mentioning but how much I'm able to tag on any given day is up in the air due to some pretty unfortunate family stuff that decided to crop up right when the plot started. Even still I did sign up for the plot-heavy group and I am going to do my best to keep up with things as I'd initially planned. If I am going too slowly on something please don't hesitate to let me know and I'll see what I can do to get it resolved.

It'd be great if we say she had most of the information with her noted down, I know Hubert would have done the same but two sets of notes are better than one, yes?

anyway, yes she does have her own set of notes with everything as well as some extrapolation on what they all might mean. She's still going to be pissed if they lose any originals though hence the 'try to save everything' deal. The book she found her passage in is definitely coming out with her, but I wasn't 100% sure what else she'd manage to grab so I threw up the offer for characters who may not have been haunting the library obsessively.
Either way I'm totally up for having her help coordinate material that was saved/lost or whatever, she knows she's still kind of new and is willing to step back and be directed by the more experienced people if need be.
