Congratulations, Havenites, THE EVENT IS OVER!
Yes, that's right, after five long gruelling weeks apart from each other, it's time for everyone to reunite.
After the heroic efforts of the characters in Haven East, several things have now changed in Haven West. Due to several specific areas of damage to the generator, the following has altered:
-> The weather has changed. The sun will rise again and the rain will stop BUT instead of going back to the endless one season weather it was before, Haven will now have proper seasons. The weather is currently following Autumn weather (showers, chilly spells, sunny spells). In addition to this, the soil of Haven West is no longer toxic. This has all been added to the setting post.
-> The barrier has glitched backwards by a square mile in each direction. This means that Haven East will remain fully accessible to all characters from now on. The Haven has also returned to how it was before the maze took it over. Please see the locations post for more details.
-> Electricity has returned to the Haven West apartments, and the well water is once again drinkable. The tunnel beneath the apartments has been fully caved in, but the damage to the apartments remains and will need to be fixed by the characters ICly.
-> Characters were were mind controlled will now regain their own sense of self again - they will also gain an immunity to future hypnosis from PCs or NPCs.
-> Characters who were dead return to life. But however they were killed leaves scars or weakness instead of being a perfect return to health. Any character who was altered physically by Philip Kite would find their metamorphosis reversed. But they would also retain scars from where they were altered.
-> The minor monsters will retreat to the subway tunnels again. Except Pyramid Head, who may be found stalking Haven West, Haven East, Haven North, The Haven and the tunnels at any time. He will be controlled by either![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
havenhelp or havenmods in random posts and threads from now on.
-> Characters who die will no longer return to life so quickly. Characters will now be dead for a full five days and will return weak and with some of their injuries still on them. For example: Jack is killed by beheading, he returns with a scar around his throat and a hoarse voice. Or Carrie is killed by a falling rock, she returns with a broken arm. The rules and FAQ page has been altered to display this change.
Beth Yao was not murdered, people were surprisingly nice to her. Whether or not she died had two outcomes for the characters, this will become apparent further down the line of the game.
Philip Kite was murdered on a few occasions and regenerated, but it is unclear whether he made it out of Haven East or not. No repercussions seem to be coming for the characters for their actions as of yet. You can find all the posts from this event (all 25 of them) on the plot page, where you can also submit any plot relevant information you found. As well, if your characters want to organize any sort of further plot, please remember that the player plots page is always open.
Characters who arrived during the event and have never seen Haven West before, will be inexplicably drawn to the correct apartment to live in, any items that were on the application form but did not arrive with the character (if they were in group one) will be waiting in the correct apartment. All items and powers are now returned.

I would like to thank you all for being so amazing and supportive of me while I've been running this mammoth event, it would never have worked without all of you wonderful people. I appreciate your patience while I did all the NPC threads and through the information gathering, as well as during the mingles, apps, and other assorted mod work. I know it wasn't perfect, but I tried to adjust it as we went along when I received feedback, and I hope you had just as much fun as I did!
