greetings haven! i'm rift, and i played here once or twice before, but ignobly was unable to stay the course. but rejoice, because i am back again! (it's okay, you don't actually have to rejoice).
this is luke fon fabre, from tales of the abyss, a very confusing playstation 2 era rpg that may have been inspired by everyone's favorite star wars movie, attack of the clones. for those that know the canon, he's from after the first fake out ending... ie after defeating van at absorption gate, then spending a month being emo about it and sitting in his room doing absolutely nothing. luke's a kid who was plagued with too much of an ego, then too little of an ego, then ends somewhere comfortably in between (much like the tale of goldilocks and the three bears).
to avoid blurting out unnecessary spoilers in this intro, i'll just say he's got 99 problems. there is no clever follow up line to that; he just has a lot of problems.
