Hello Havenites!
The event has now begun!
As of this moment, the apartment is sealed off. All characters will be closed inside (finding themselves suddenly there if they were out at the time). The doors and windows are sealed shut and cannot be broken through, and the electricity is out causing the hallways and rooms to be pitch dark.
The following things may happen at random in the corridors and apartment rooms over the next few days, and you are welcome to assume your character encountering one or all of them:
-> The hallways and stairwells realign to not lead the same place twice
-> Hysterical laughter can be heard
-> Blood appears to coat the walls and floor thickly
-> The sensation of being watched
-> A sensation of suffocating in the shadows
-> The door to the apartment vanishes leaving no way out into the halls
-> Food turns rotten in a character's mouth
-> The phone glitches to play nursery rhymes
-> The phone completely dies and will not make or receive calls
All of these effects can happen multiple times in multiple places across the apartment block, and may last between 30 seconds and 1 hour in duration each time. Characters who signed up for stage one possession may now act on the information sent out via PM.
As there are numerous small effects to choose from over several days, there will be no mingle post. You may feel free to make your own posts having your characters react. The next event post will be on Saturday 19th October, 7pm EST, which will consist of an OOC information post and and IC mingle.
