Hello Havenites!
The event is now over!
For anyone that missed exactly what went down, the ghosts were the previous residents of Haven - the ones that had been held for a year and then killed off. They were furious that this group of characters had evaded the one year deadline and, bitter, they were trying to redress the balance. But they are still old residents at heart, and so all it took to appease them was a promise that they would not be forgotten and left to rot here, but that any escape attempt would include a way to get them back to their own worlds.
Congratulations to Alphonse Elric, Caterina Sforza, Oz Vessalius, Ciel, and Minato Arisato for figuring this out.
As the ghosts now have a tentative bargain with the current residents, the following will now be in effect:
-> Each character may gain one weapon manifested from shadow into reality. This may be a knife or a scythe or a spear.
-> The apartment building will gain bars on the windows and locks on the doors to help defend against future attacks.
As the event ends a blue light will sweep the apartments and take with it all the ghostly effects at the same time. Any possessed character will be returned to their own self (though if they were currently wielding ectoplasm they might be covered in slime, or currently flying they might crash to the ground, etc). The doors of the apartment building open, and characters are once more free to go about their business. Any characters killed in the event may now revive, with scars or effects from the manner of their death as per the standard rules on death.

In an additional announcement, by popular demand there will be a test drive meme on October 31st, 7pm EST. This will follow a different format to usual, to give it a Halloween flair. All existing characters will have a choice to be monsters, zombies, possessed, or ghosts to scare any potential new characters. Or they can just be themselves and join in being equally as scared. There will also be appearances by Pyramid Head and Zombie!Jessica, just to make things that extra bit horrifying. So please spread the word, bring all your friends and any new characters you want to test yourselves too.

Can they change between the three or is it only one?
Is the weight of the weapon what it would be realistically or is it light because it's made of shadows?

First of all, how does it manifest? Does it just...appear out of the shadows at their feet and just stay manifested until the end of time, or do they only appear when called for and then slip back into shadow when they're not? If the latter, how are they called for? And are we talking any kind of knife (i.e.- butcher, switchblade, machete) or one specific kind of knife?

Any kind of standard shape knife from a butter knife to a dagger. Switchblade and butcher knife is fine, a machete is a type of weapon all of its own really.

Are the weapons all identical, e.g. only one kind of knife, or can it manifest differently depending on the character?Sorry, I just noticed someone else asked this and you already answered!

Can we pick the design of the weapon or do the weapons come to our characters as a standard weapon design?
Because I was wandering if it'll be possible for Asuka ( and maybe Kaworu from the same canon ) to get spears that were replicas ( or downgrade versions ) to the Spear of Longious from their canon?

Any design based on the three types of weapon is fine, although they would just be a standard weapon with no powers.
