Any ejected players are welcome to reapply for their characters after one month, in order to be fair to other applicants.
It's almost event time!
This month's event is running a little differently to previous months. If you check the event calendar page, you'll see that there are four stand alone event days.
The Powers that Be at the Yao Corporation have decided to test their 'specimens' (which means all of the characters) and see how they're holding up, in what they think are the four key character attributes, after surviving past the year deadline. This means that the game will be divided into four, and each group will endure a different sort of task.
However, the Yao Corporation is still in disarray after the big anniversary event, and so if you do not want to sign your character up at all, then it is conceivable they may have slipped through the cracks. If you do want to sign up, please read the four options carefully.
Event Day One: Monday 11th November - STRENGTH
The characters will find themselves in a huge fighting pit, surrounded by high walls and a ceiling that are impossible to break or scale. They will be depowered and each given access only to a small hunting knife. Inside the pit with them will be 200 minor monsters, 50 major monsters, and 2 god-level monsters from various canons. The rules are simple, kill or be killed, work as a team if possible. Characters may NPC minor and some major monsters themselves, but the mod team will be running the two god-level monsters and some of the major monsters.
Event Day Two: Thursday 14th November - WISDOM
The characters will find themselves in a labyrinth in which there will be various intelligence puzzles - some may be in the form of riddles, some may be logic, etc. These must be solved in order to continue onwards, answer wrongly and death will come swiftly. Characters can band together to solve these puzzles, or use others as guinea pigs to make sure the correct answer is guessed before attempting it themselves.
Event Day Three: Monday 18th November - LOYALTY
Randomly assigned, half the characters will be trapped behind prison bars and the other half will be prison wardens. The wardens will no longer have memories of being themselves and will believe the prisoners to be dangerous and awaiting execution. The guards will also all be wearing collars, which will detonate if the prisoners escape. The prisoners' only way of leaving the cells are to escape, which will kill the guards, or accept their own execution.
Event Day Four: Thursday 21st November - ADAPTABILITY
Each character in this group will be assigned a brand new power! If they already have powers or abilities, these will be stripped and a new one given, if they have no powers originally then they've gained something. These powers may be very dangerous and hard to control, and in order to get free of the three trials (to be revealed) they will face, they may need to adapt and band together with others in their group to make their new powers work for them.
Some important information:
-> Characters not involved will remain in the apartments.
-> Each mini event will last for one IC day, meaning characters who become trapped with the monsters on Monday 11th November at 7pm EST will return to Haven proper on Tuesday 12th at 7pm EST.
-> All characters who die will return to life within 24 hours, with the addition of the word DEFECTIVE tattooed on above their heart.
-> All characters who survive will gain the word PASSED tattooed above their heart.
