Have another samurai, Haven!

Hello all! My name is Luna and I'm very excited to be joining you all as Souji Okita from Kaze Hikaru, another canon about now-dead samurai. This Souji won't be drinking anyone's blood, though! And you can tell him apart from the other Souji because he won't be coughing everywhere yet, either. At his canonpoint he hasn't started coughing up blood and has actually been given a clean bill of health, so as far as his time in Haven goes, he's tuberculosis-free!

He'll be bunking in apartment #6.007 and will most definitely be mourning the lack of sweets around here. :( If anyone's any good at making candy, he would be your best friend forever if you made him some.

I'm looking forward to starting to play with everyone once the introductory log goes up! I hope we'll get along. Add me on plurk at moontrance if you want to! I'll probably be going through and adding the players of people Souji is likely to meet (his roommates, his castmate's CR, et cetera), but don't feel as if you're obligated to accept the request if I send it.

It is, it is! The question is, how awful do we want to make it, and how quickly do we want it to escalate...

I suspect the awful of awful will be coming from the Soujis. Saitou is more likely to make at least some vague attempt for a resolution that does not involve anyone gettin' sandanzuki'ed.

...which isn't to say he always has that much success at getting his own Souji to put his big boy pants on.

Soujis are rather skilled at exuding awful, that much is true. I feel bad for Saitou, having to put up with them!

He might have a little more luck getting this Souji to do so. Then again, he might not. It will really depend on how childish Souji is feeling during that particular thread.

Someone really ought to invest in ibuprofen around here, they would surely make a killing off all the headaches Saitou is bound to start having.

Hi Yaywon! Lenalee and Oz are some pretty solid muse choices, and I'm very excited to get to play with one or both of them! I love both D.Gray-man and Pandora Hearts, so it's great to see the casts here too! Especially Pandora Hearts, it looks like it's growing a lot!

I like how the best news in this whole place is that Okita is now tuberculosis free... and yet, in reality, he's probably just going to die of some other horrendous thing because this is Haven.

My Japanese isn't good enough to tell but I'm pretty sure he contracts it in later volumes of Kaze Hikaru. That's long after his canon point, though! And I am certainly open to having him die in some other awful manner. What's a horror game without the occasional death, right?

Seriously. Although it could be fun to have Okita develop the disease slowly but surely in game too. You know, because who doesn't want to cough up blood? lmao. And yeah, I just started playing through Hakuoki on the PSP a few months ago so all the dead samurai are now in my purview. I'm actually kind of amazed at how many versions of everyone we have running around Haven now.

That was my original plan, but since he was given a clean bill of health at his canon point I was told not to! If I can get a concrete translation on the volume I think has him suffering from it, I'm going to ask if I can do it, but it won't be out in English for quite a long time and there aren't people scanlating it as far as I'm aware, so it may not be possible.

I'm amazed and excited by how many different versions of everyone we have, too!
