Event End
Hello Havenites!
So the poll voted the majority to deal with the Yao Corporation using a set list of demands, in exchange for which the scientists would be given back and the remaining residents would all take a shot of the medicine (which has been abandoned or seized from the scientists over the last few days).
Any character who wishes to fake taking the medication, or flat out not do it, may do so. But there will be longer range consequences for this, and so if that's the decision made, please comment with your character journal to this post, thank you!
As you can see from this IC post some of the demands have been accepted, and some have not been accepted. What this means for Havenites from now on is:
-> The plumbing and electricity will work within the housing blocks. This includes the stoves, and any other electronics they can salvage and repair, it also includes a (not very good) heating system and, obviously, the toilets/showers.
-> A single crate of medical supplies will be left outside the clinic door once per month. This crate will contain bandages, painkillers, antiseptic, needles, splints, band-aids, various basic tablets (such as anti-histamines), syringes, and blankets.
-> Pyramid Head will no longer roam Haven West at random. Instead, he will stand guard outside the convenience store and slaughter anyone who comes close.
-> Characters will now be able to find bread, frozen fish, and frozen meat in Haven North. These will be in short supply (think once per week), and not to be found anywhere else. There will be no other changes to the food situation.
-> Each character will wake up with a new coin in their pocket. It looks the most similar to this coin, except the date is 2015 and the picture on the head side is Dr. Kite.
The remainder of the demands will not be met. The information pages, specifically Nitpicker's Guide, have been updated to show these changes. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to let me know here, and I hope you enjoyed this event. Thank you!
