Hello Havenites, this is your monthly mod post!

MOD ANNOUNCEMENTS
As of July 26th, there will be a game wide test drive meme quarterly (once every three months). This is beginning at the end of July, as there is a HMD scheduled for the end of June.

Also a reminder that two player plots which may be of interest to the whole game include a change in the landscape of the sinkhole and garden, which has been updated on the relevant location pages, and an upcoming convenience store raid.

COMMUNAL PLOT CLUES
These plot clues are available to be found by anyone, and can be found by multiple characters.

-> Occasional shadows outside the barrier by the Southern side, as though people are observing from the other side. These shadows are most common at high noon and sunset, and sometimes include up smaller shadows as if some observers are children. - This clue can be found at the Southern most barrier.

-> A vast increase in the number of snails around Haven West, particularly on and around the well. Most drinking water pulled up from the well will contain at least one or two snails. Drinking the water will not produce the same effects as eating the snails. - This clue can be found at the well.

-> A set of bookshelves that can be moved away to reveal a back door from the Haven North library. Exiting this door will lead to a building identical to the convenience store in Haven West. It is boarded up and unable to be entered, there is light coming from within. - This clue can be found in Haven North.

WEATHER
The current weather has not changed from the end of the last event, and so is still spring. This includes occasional rain showers and warmer weather, snow and ice will melt. If your character changes the weather, please comment here with the changes made. This means that if anyone wishes to know the current weather for posting purposes, they need only check the last comment made under that heading. This section will be included every month, so the header to check the current weather will always be sticky.

SMALL PLOT REQUESTS
This is the place to request any small player plot requests which do not change the game setting as a whole, and do not involve the whole playerbase. For player plots that are more involved, please still use the suggestions and player plots page. This section is for requesting smaller plots, such as a raid on the convenience store or a request to join the Yao Corporation, though not limited to these two things specifically. The header to request these is here.

LETTERS
If you would like to write further letters to Caroline, or any other NPC to be passed via Caroline, please leave them here, and replies will be made to your comment in this post. Caroline only visits the underground room sporadically, so there may be some wait between replies.

CONCERNS AND SUGGESTIONS
This is the place to let us know about any concerns you might have regarding the game itself. This is not the place to tell us about concerns you have with other players, or for major concerns, please use the screened Concerns Post for that. If you would like to leave a concern or suggestion, please try to be as detailed as possible so that we can properly understand and address the issue. This is also the place where you can let us know about any small mod mistakes; for example, typos in the information posts, or broken links anywhere, so that these can be fixed.

Hinata will have modified the weather accordingly with the progression of months-- so it'll gradually be getting warmer and moving toward summer (not hot enough for heatwaves yet tho and he might avoid those altogether). But there'll still be the occasional rain showers.

Question! What would happen if a character tried to leave the Yao Corporation? Like, physically said to Geming's (or whoever's) face, "I'm out." Or, alternatively, tried to get a meeting and then used said meeting to make a demand?

They would likely be permanently killed, as was Aoi. However, characters who were dropped and reapped, their contracts are considered null anyway, it's like a fresh slate.

Ah, I see! Permanently killed is not ideal for my purposes. |D If a character is dropped and re-apped, are they inherently aware that their contract has been voided?

Essentially what I'm thinking is - depending on how a few current threads go down, Anri will either want to a) try to get out of her own contract (which doesn't exist anymore, but if she's not aware of it, it may remain a priority for her) or b) try to get Masaomi Kida out of his, by offering -- idk. Things! Even if this all amounts in failure, which I'm totally good with, attempts may be made. It is a bit up in the air right now, but I'd love to hear your thoughts!

Question! Would it be possible for Richter to sign up with the rebels? If so, can we plot it out?

He can certainly write to Caroline and ask. It's unlikely he'd be able to join fully, as their base and operations take place outside of the barrier, but he could definitely gain an ally from within the rebels and work with them.

Stefan's lock from saying anything. Is there any way that they can 'cure' or 'break' it? Pepper really wants to help him so I thought I'd ask.

Not currently, unfortunately. It's pretty much a part of his brain, and removing it would kill him, and he doesn't respawn.

Sadness. Aside from working for the Yao Corporation is there any way that Pepper can learn more about the history of the world outside of the done or the technology that was/is being used?

She has a lot of theories and ideas of what is going on, but she would be trying to learn more about it.

hey, i know this is digging up old stuff TWO MONTHS AGO that's like forever. But I was digging through old plot info on the plot so far page, and found this:

-> Information regarding remote brainwashing, making the subject unable to say or do anything against the Yao Corporation. It is also noted the only person this has been conducted on is Stefan Lowritz. The effects can be reversed if the generator in Haven East supplying the power is destroyed. - Found by Minako Arisato

.......That doesn't mean it wouldn't kill Stefan, though lol And also that character isn't in the game anymore, so I don't think there's any way ICly to find this out. But I thought it was neat and wanted to share.

About the snails

If Wan were to feed his Alien Flytrap (audrey II plant) the snails (so it gets the blood it needs without feeding on people), would it turn into a snail, too? Or is it immune?

The Audrey II would be immune to the snail effect, and would grow at a slower and sickly rate from not being fed human blood.
