Hello Havenites, this is your monthly mod post!
The test drive meme (currently on the calendar for the end of July) was held at the end of June instead, in order to better align with app-this-plz, so please be aware this is now a false date on the calendar.
The second anniversary of Haven is coming up in September, and that means that a lengthy anniversary event will be held stretching from August-September in a slow build. This means that the event in July will be the last scheduled short event for a while, and please be aware that the August calendar only shows the first week of the anniversary event. Further details will be given nearer the time. For a look at our previous special length anniversary event, please see the plot page under August-September 2013.
These plot clues are available to be found by anyone, and can be found by multiple characters.
-> Monsters are beginning to vanish from the subway tunnels, as if when ones are killed by the residents, they are no longer replaced. The monsters who are left are deformed in 20% of cases, usually due to a strange bending of their limbs. - This clue can be found in the subway tunnels.
-> Occasionally, a mild tremor will be able to be felt in the ground (roughly once per week). This is faint enough to not be noticed, but anyone paying close attention will feel it as if a massive explosion is happening a long distance away. - This clue can be found in all areas of Haven, but is strongest in the East.
-> The phones will occasionally emit or broadcast static when they are being used. The bursts of static are very infrequent and will only last a few seconds at most. - This clue can be found by using the network.
The weather was changed in June by Hinata, and is now gradually getting warmer and moving toward summer (not hot enough for heatwaves yet though). But there'll still be the occasional rain showers. If your character changes the weather, please comment here with the changes made. This means that if anyone wishes to know the current weather for posting purposes, they need only check the last comment made under that heading. This section will be included every month, so the header to check the current weather will always be sticky.
This is the place to request any small player plot requests which do not change the game setting as a whole, and do not involve the whole playerbase. For player plots that are more involved, please still use the suggestions and player plots page. This section is for requesting smaller plots, such as a raid on the convenience store or a request to join the Yao Corporation, though not limited to these two things specifically. The header to request these is here.
If you would like to write further letters to Caroline, or any other NPC to be passed via Caroline, please leave them here, and replies will be made to your comment in this post. Caroline only visits the underground room sporadically, so there may be some wait between replies.
This is the place to let us know about any concerns you might have regarding the game itself. This is not the place to tell us about concerns you have with other players, or for major concerns, please use the screened Concerns Post for that. If you would like to leave a concern or suggestion, please try to be as detailed as possible so that we can properly understand and address the issue. This is also the place where you can let us know about any small mod mistakes; for example, typos in the information posts, or broken links anywhere, so that these can be fixed.

We woke up in a maze four days ago or so. Most of Haven is still down there. You can only escape after killing someone else, whether on accident or on purpose.
The people who die down there, their bodies do not disappear, and they are removed from the cellphones. Has this ever happened before?

So I asked about for your question, and it turns out the rebels did used to live under the capital. That was when the capital was Haven West, where all you fuckers live now, pretty weird, huh? Anyway, they called it The Haven, until it got found by Yao and they got flushed out. Apparently they took it over after that, so the rebels had to go someplace else.

Thank you so much for asking about it! If you ever need any sewing done or something, I can try to do it for you. [ She feels bad just having Scully ask around for nothing... ] It's hard to picture this place as a capital city, but that makes sense, really.

I do. I mean, I always have sewn. Not everyone here does, and everyone does seem to tear things up so I just thought I'd offer. If there's small things like that I can help with, I should, right?
I don't know how tough I am or am not, but I'm trying to learn how to fight.
