I type way more than I need to, I think!
Hello there, lovelies! I'm Lunare, and I might love the horror genre way too much--if that's even possible.
This young lady I'm bringing in is Ruka Minazuki from Fatal Frame IV: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse. She's coming in post-game, directly after she gives her goodbyes to daddy dearest, so she will be teary-eyed upon arrival. Her life before arriving in Haven hasn't been the greatest, having suffered from a sort of amnesia since childhood due to a failed ritual she was kidnapped and forced into performing. She's lost all her family, and fears she may have lost all her friends, too. Don't worry, though, she isn't a Debbie Downer despite all of that.
At least, not all the time. For the most part, Ruka is a friendly, if not quiet, young woman who happens to be a skilled pianist. She's also one of the last Tsukimori Shrine Maidens, a line of women born with the ability to hear a person's soul, or Lunar Melody. It's similar to empathy, meaning if she understood at all how her ability worked she'd be able to tell when a person's emotions changed, but because she doesn't quite understand her ability, it's pretty much useless!
