gooood early afternoon, haven. my name's athena, and if you've been around since the stone age, you might remember me from back when i used to play RED medic from team fortress 2 'round these parts. it's been about a year and a half since i've seen you guys and i'm terribly excited to get back into the swing of things ;;

so! that said, let me introduce you to this piece of trash: tohru adachi from persona 4, a silly little game about a group of kids trying to solve a community wide murder mystery. being the World's Shittiest Detective in the Happiest Game About Murder, adachi's a friendly slacker who divvies up his time between a) hanging out at the local department store pretending to look busy, b) being ordered around like a butt monkey by his partner dojima, c) making small talk with the player character and his friends and unwittingly acting as their inside source into the police department because he's down with the kids yo, and d) trying to keep his tracks covered because he's the very serial killer the protagonist and his friends have been searching for. oops. he might look like quite the dippy little cutie pie (on a good day), but it's all an act; the real adachi is a callous, foul-mouthed, cruel sadist.

he's being taken from a point close to the ending of his story route in persona 4 arena ultimax, a sequel/fighting game spin-off that takes place shortly after the end of the main game. as such, he's had a little time to think about what he's done and has actually mellowed and changed for the better in some ways, but nonetheless he's still a nasty piece of work. i totally understand if playing with him would be a little uncomfortable for some, so i've put up an opt-out section in his permissions post for you guys to refer to.
