DECEMBER STICKY POST

Hello Havenites, this is your monthly mod post!
For anyone that missed the announcements, there has been some minor changes to the mod team. The first of these was that Siberia was brought on as a helper - her duties will be advertising and app processing help. The second change was that Marion will now be helping out with AC checks, meaning you may get replies from both havenhelp (Marion) and havenmods (me).
There will be a HMD on Saturday 13th December, this will also include a section for 'How's the Game' where players can critique the moderators and suggest aspects of events they would like to see more or less of.
These plot clues are available to be found by anyone, and can be found by multiple characters.
-> The plot book is still in full swing - This clue can be found in Haven North library. Please contact Christy for further information.
-> Black bird feathers will be able to be found near the subway tunnel entrance in Haven North, and occasionally a crow's call can be heard. - This clue can be found in Haven North.
-> Characters who have died within Haven may start having dreams of their death(s) on a nightly basis, they will be vivid and graphic. - This clue can be found when asleep.
The weather was changed in November by Wan and is now early spring so that it rains roughly once a week for several hours and is otherwise cool at night and warm during the day. If your character changes the weather, please comment here with the changes made. This means that if anyone wishes to know the current weather for posting purposes, they need only check the last comment made under that heading. This section will be included every month, so the header to check the current weather will always be sticky.
This is the place to request any small player plot requests which do not change the game setting as a whole, and do not involve the whole playerbase. For player plots that are more involved, please still use the suggestions and player plots page. This section is for requesting smaller plots, such as a raid on the convenience store or a request to join the Yao Corporation, though not limited to these two things specifically. The header to request these is here.
If you would like to write further letters to Caroline, or any other NPC to be passed via Caroline, please leave them here, and replies will be made to your comment in this post. Caroline only visits the underground room sporadically, so there may be some wait between replies.
You may also use this section to visit Jessica in her little tent encampment, or request her presence in a post/thread.
This is the place to let us know about any concerns you might have regarding the game itself. This is not the place to tell us about concerns you have with other players, or for major concerns, please use the screened Concerns Post for that. If you would like to leave a concern or suggestion, please try to be as detailed as possible so that we can properly understand and address the issue. This is also the place where you can let us know about any small mod mistakes; for example, typos in the information posts, or broken links anywhere, so that these can be fixed.
This has been your December Mod Post, thank you!
Landscaping
But we were wondering (assuming the playerbase in general is up for it when we put up the OOC plotting post for this thing) if some reshaping of the housing spiral in a similar manner to the sinkhole garden would be allowed (i.e. terraced). With the fresh-water spring at the bottom and the housing spiral moving upward from there as it spirals to the billboard area in addition to the stairs at regular internals. Since there's three earthbenders we don't foresee a problem in getting that done within a days time despite the size of the area.
However, we don't know if it will be possible to do effectively due to the earth they'd have move around to do it. Is there enough to do that and maintain stability? If not, could they make arches out of the earth and stone for support a la the real life Colosseum to make up for the otherwise lack of physical supply and stability? If it's not possible at all, could they still raise the spiral up higher than the fresh water spring by at least ten feet in case of future flooding?
Thank you!
