A Snail's Pace

Hi everyone! I know my scheduling already makes it fairly difficult for me to be an active and engaging tagger.

I found out yesterday that my heart and soul kitty has advanced, stage four, chronic kidney disease. I work with animals in my profession and will be spending a lot of time caring for her so that she can get fluids 24/7 and hopefully bring her levels to a much more normal baseline. TMI? Probably. She means a lot to me though.

For now, I'm going to stay off hiatus and do my best to pick things up next week once we know more about her condition and whether she will stabilize, but I at least wanted to put a message out there to say that I'M SORRY and tags will be slower than a snail's pace. To those who are threading with me, thank you for being patient. I really really really appreciate it.

Thank you. Mine too. All of my animals have special needs, so they get a lot of my time. I really appreciate you keeping her in your thoughts. She's doing really well on the fluids I'm giving her daily and gained some weight.

Thank you so much... I'm trying to catch up a bit now. She's doing a little better. Finally getting back to her normal self. I hope this means we will get some quality time with her.

I'm sorry you went through something similar. My animals are so important to me. I feed them better than I do myself. lol. I'm trying to give her all the love she can take. :)
