Event end and a new page
Oh dear, Havenites, it seems Haven North is not the utopia it originally promised to be. And with that bombshell, the event is over. Fog rolls in once more and when the characters wake up they are back in their usual apartment building in Haven West.
Any character who died will return in 24 hours. Any character who brought back items from Haven North may keep them, as long as they were carrying them at the time (having them by the bed if they were sleeping, or in a bag they were carrying is also fine). Books may also be brought back, but they will now be blank from cover to cover. The only exception to this are any items from home which were found, these will return with the characters regardless if they were currently being held or not.
There is a lasting change wrought by this event. The subway station is now open, and one tunnel may be used to gain continuous access to Haven North. For important further information on this, as well as consequences for the characters choosing to do so, please make sure to reference the locations page.
Unrelated to the end of the event, there is also now an ongoing plot so far page. This will be updated with the monthly events, as well as in-between important character discoveries or events. I have used the consequences of writing and the convenience store raid to show as examples. If you would like to have your plot clues from this event, or any other important discovery added to the page, simply fill out the form at the top and I will add it in.
As always, any questions, concerns, or general feedback is welcome here.

I do kind of have a question about that: if they go back, is Haven North in the same pristine condition it was in at the start of the event? That's what I'm getting from the location description. If it is, are they allowed to bring things from Have North back to the West side, like fresh food, etc.?

Yes, they can bring back fresh food.

1. Say a character was carrying a book with them upon arrival, and the contents are wiped because it's in Haven West. If that book is taken to Haven North however, will the original text reappear?
2. Are there any clocks or calendars in Haven North that might be indicative of IC time and date? Similarly, if something like a clock or a watch is taken from North to West, what would happen to the number components?

1. This is answered on the locations page: "Characters may write without consequences in Haven North. However, any books that are taken back to Haven West will lose all writing and become blank covers. Even if they are then returned to Haven North, they will remain blank!"
2. No calenders or working clocks. Some clocks could be found that can be fixed up, but there is no IC way of knowing the date. The numbers would be wiped clean.

This is clarified on the setting page: "The weather in Haven is nearly always of a temperate climate (think South of France), so warm but not tropical. It doesn't seem to have seasons and remains this way all year round. Rain does fall, but it is very infrequent."
