I'm sorry I didn't get to post this earlier, but today's the first chance at real internet I've gotten since losing power Tuesday night. (Work being uptown and not in the effected area at all.) I'm going to be awol until we do get power restored, whenever that'll be. If people want to drop threads, I totally understand, but I'm more than happy to continue.

Anyway, tl;dr: no power. Presume Katniss is keeping to herself and working on constructing herself a serviceable bow and arrows.

First and foremost: I am very horrible at introductions, and you guys should feel horrible for making me have to introduce myself. But then again, I'm not a very nice person to my characters, so it's not like that matters.

Anyway! Hello, Haven, I'm a Pikari (and if you're thinking about Pokemon right now, you're not allowed to catch me) and I'll be playing here one Haruhi Suzumiya from her self-titled series. She's coming in from the end of "Surprise", but if you want me to avoid novel spoilers, please tell me and I'll do so, though they'll probably not pop up as much since I play the girl who knows nothing about what really happens in the series...

But there's one little catch: she's coming in with Mayfield (mayfield_rpg) memories, meaning that she's been through a lot and will pretty much ragequit when she finds out that she's been taken out of one world and into another.

hey there, this is allie. i owe roughly a million apologies for having to utilize an almost month-long hiatus there. i missed the first event and a bunch of awesome intros, including castmates. i'm sorry. 8( I'm back now, though my internet is kinda of spotty thanks to sandy so i'm still really slow.

so yeah, i just wanted to say sorry for the inconvenience and if you need to get a hold of me for any reason, my plurk is yoink.

Ed recently made a post looking for people interested in trying to get inside the convenience store.

If you would like your character to get in on this, a log will be going up for exactly that purpose! However, to make things easier (IC and OOC), the party will be split into 4 groups (one for each side of the building). This is in an effort to prevent the group from becoming too large to play out in a timely manner as it includes a sizable amount of characters in different time zones and with conflicting schedules, and because Ed would want to increase their chances of getting inside by "splitting" the attention of whoever is lurking around in there.

If you would like your character included in the log, please reply here! Replying to Ed's post ICly isn't a requirement, but if you would like to handwave a conversation, that's fine. Just make sure you reply here!

Keep in mind that their inclusion means a risk of being messed with (physically and mentally) depending on the results of the excursion. The danger will be higher if you're in the front door team, so if you would rather be excluded from that, let me know that, too. Otherwise, I'll be splitting the log into groups and Blue has generously reassured me that each will be followed for their progress. There is no limit on the characters permitted to come, so please feel free to join! It's a great chance to meet new CR.

It's that time of the month again for the first time, Havenites. That's right, Activity Check!

Activity can be either of the following:

One post or log AND a thread of five comments or more.
OR
Three threads totalling thirty comments or more.

As clarification, this means five comments by your character, or thirty comments by your character over three threads. Posts or logs must be posted by your character, or be a joint original post. While a post or log counts as AC by itself, if it's noticed that threads are being consistently dropped or not responded to over a few months, a warning may be given. Failure to comment to the AC post or provide sufficient AC will result in being removed from the game. You are free to re-apply for an ejected character; but to be fair to other applicants, you must wait a month before doing so.

If you have been accepted on or after the 15th of the month, you are exempt from that activity check period. For example; Batman is accepted on November 18th, he does not have to reply to the AC post on December 1st. Anyone accepted before the 15th will be expected to make activity. A hiatus of two weeks will reduce the requirement by half to one post OR a thread of twelve or more comments. Players on hiatus for the whole month are exempt from activity check.

Posts, logs and threads can be taken any time from the beginning of the game, until October 31st. You have until November 5th, 7pm EST to comment. A warned list will go up shortly after that. If you appear on the warned list, you have until November 7th, 7pm EST to reply with evidence of activity or hiatus. An ejected list will go up shortly after.
