I am back from hiatus! However, I will still be a little slower than I should be until mid-December, when the semester is FINALLY over. Holy crap, this semester was a mess. :(

Anyway, Scout is a little less cocky and straightforward right now, since he was tricked into thinking his mother was kidnapped and he also died a little before that. He's not having the best luck!

The poll on the item rule change was supposed to close in a few hours. However, as the votes are unanimous in allowing the change, there seems no reason to wait.

Characters will now be able to arrive with up to three items/weapons. These may include things like jewelry, photographs, and guns. But not things like a personal nuke, or a car. The Rules and FAQs have been altered to reflect this change. The applications template has also been edited to add a section on items.

Any character already in the game, may recover up to three items/weapons. These will be returned to the character during the December event, and must be requested on this post.

All applications currently in the queue will be asked this additional items question before approval. Any questions or concerns are welcome on this post.

Hellooo Haven.

This is Ena again, bringing in my third character (and maximum second from the same canon). This is Tres, a.k.a. Gunslinger, a.k.a. The Gunmetal Hound, a.k.a. HC IIIX Father Hercules Tres Iqus, from Trinity Blood.

He's a Killing Doll, which is a machine with a human brainstem, who belongs to the Duchess of Milan. He's an agent of the Vatican, and an utterly ruthless marskman. He's a deadpan lineface king, who isn't too good at the whole 'friendship' thing.

He'll be rooming in 2.001 with Leon, Lightning, Claire, Kanda and Yamamoto. He's also bringing in two guns and a weird little bag of pills, thanks to the rule change.

I'll be intro'ing him tomorrow after the event is over. As always, you can catch me at enabeans or luthienabler on AIM.

HULLO HAVEN. I'm Lan and I'm bringing to you the BLU Scout from Team Fortress 2! Feel free to confuse him with your RED Scout. He'll be glad to tell you how wrong you are.

This Scout has also just got done with a near three-year-straight run in mayfield_rpg where... well, let's just say he's really used to this horror game routine by now. He's also going to be reaaaally unhappy with waking up in a place that isn't home sweet home after all that time. With all the things he's gone through in Mayfield, this Scout might seem a little more calm and a bit more mature than what you're used to, but I assure you, he's still the same cocky overconfident idiot underneath it all.

He'll be in apartment #3.004, with Damon Salvatore and Holly Summers. Hello new roomies!

Hi, Haven! You have no idea how excited I am about being here, hnnnn. ♥ I'm shira (or Shira, or HEY YOU, or whatever you might want to call me) and after a long process that involved growing a pair of balls, I finally decided to app in! This is my first time playing here, and uhhh, also my first time playing in a game with a log comm and a network and all of that fun stuff. (I know that's kind of the standard, sorry, I'M SERIOUSLY OUT OF THE LOOP.) I've been rping for a few years, but mostly at damned_institute which isn't played in real time and is primarily prose and... yeah. IT HAS A VERY DIFFERENT STYLE. D: So I apologize in advance if it takes me a while to get used to the game structure. If you ever see me doing something stupid, feel free to poke me, BECAUSE I'M NOT SURE OF ALL OF THE RULES. X(

Anyway, as you might have guessed from the journal, I'm bringing with me Jack Frost from Rise of the Guardians! Without spoiling anyone, he's the same Jack Frost you might know from legend with an array of sparkly winter powers. Oh, and he likes to prank people and play games with little kids. If you're under the age of twelve and believe in Santa, you're golden. ♥

LONG STORY SHORT, Jack will be staying in room #2.007 even if he might not use it very much. HE HAS SOME SERIOUSLY AWESOME ROOMIES, GOTTA SAY. I'm hoping to intro him within the next couple of days, probably with a log (if that's... okay...?) because he won't be paying much attention to his phone and, um, will also probably be running around the apartment, banging on doors. He might be a little on the stand-offish side because he got some bad news about his Father and Dean's being stupid. Plus, he's still working on his social graces. He's also missing a good chunk of his powers because being a fallen angel sucks. :( Also, he's in apartment #2.004. I'm sure he won't be spending much time there, though. Haven's second event is now officially over.

I would like to thank every player who participated in both parts of the event, as well as my incredible helper moderator, Furu. I hope you all enjoyed it. I realize certain parts of this event were disturbing and graphic; while I attempted to provide clear trigger warnings at all stages of the event to make sure no player saw things that they didn't want to, I would definitely be open to hearing if these warnings should be improved in any way. However, the main theme of the game is psychological horror, and body horror will not be frequent.

All characters who died, or were captured, will wake up in their own beds in the apartment block tonight. Any injuries sustained will be semi-healed, so as to no longer pose a threat to their well-being. Any characters who were at the hospital will have had an unimpeded journey back (much faster than going) after speaking with Jonas. All parts of the event may continue to be back-tagged; however, today is the official end date. Any player who does not wish to continue their thread (or wishes to bypass talking to Jonas), but wishes to work out a thread ending, may contact me here on on plurk to discuss a resolution.

Once all the characters are out of the tunnels, they will reseal themselves and the monsters will begin to diminish. Extremely dangerous monsters will be the first to go, until they thin out into nothing over the next few days.
