Just a heads-up to say that I'll be gone from tomorrow 8th of December until the 11th of January, I'm off to India to do a little bit of travelling before my PhD starts up in February, and I'm highly unlikely to have internet access for most of the trip, so better just to disappear for a while.

So good news, Masaomi, you can go around happily thinking Izaya is dead or something and actually sleep in your assigned room for once!! Izaya himself will be off having horrible things done to him by whatever brought them to Haven, or something like that haha.

I'll miss you all terribly, but I'll be back! And when I am I'm planning on getting Izaya up to some villainous mischief to make up for his long absence.

Hey Haven, I haven't been here long but it just so happens that finals are right now and they are killing me slowly. :|

I am really sad to do this, but given real life time constraints, I think I'm going to have to drop Katniss from the game. I'm moving in less than a month to start a PhD program and oh man, as much as I've really enjoyed Haven, it's really, really fast moving and I don't think that'll go so well with the amount of time I'll actually have come January. Or really, the amount of time I have now as I get ready to move.

Hello, Haven! My name's Rika and I'm new to the game.

I'm bringing in Artemis Crock, that one snarky archer who likes to kick things in the face from Young Justice. Despite all the sass, she's still really approachable most of the time. Aaaaand I don't really know what else to add, but she's rooming in #3.008.

I'm bad at intros so I'll keep this short and sweet! I'm Schist and I'm bringing Sheva Alomar from Resident Evil 5 to Haven! I was (finally) enabled by Ren and Trace. I'm incredibly excited to be here!

One more thing. Sheva's coming to Haven with a year or so worth of memories from ExitVoid, so she might know a few folks. That being said, she'll keep quiet on recognizing someone she has previous CR with unless I'm given an OOC green light. Likely, if it's major CR, I'll contact the mun about it before anything goes down.

Any ejected players are welcome to reapply for their characters after one month, in order to be fair to other applicants.

Poll Results

Having looks at both the votes and the discussion, a decision has been made. Applications and reserves will continue to be open constantly; however, applications will only be processed every other Friday. Applications will usually be processed at 7PM EST on the Friday, so that's the cut off point. Just for this week, however, I will process applications tomorrow morning as well, as it's short notice.

In order to give the successful applicants time to join the communities and introduce themselves OOCly, a mingle log will then go up the next day (Saturday) for the characters to ICly intro to the game.

The mingle logs will have sections for the apartments with new members, and for general interaction in public places, so please try to help new players feel welcome by joining in with these logs. If that Saturday of the mingle log clashes with an event, or the end of an event (such as the December one), the mingle log will go up a day later on the Sunday. If the Friday of processing applications falls before the 15th of the month, characters will still have to make AC; if it falls on or after, they won't (the same as it is now). A schedule of which Fridays are used for processing applications will be kept up to date by three months at a time on the applications page.

The application page, the Rules and FAQs, and the acceptance template have all been altered to reflect this change. All applications currently in the queue will be processed tonight, for an intro mingle log tomorrow. All intro mingle logs will go up at 7PM EST, and will remain indefinitely open, so please make sure to check back for anyone joining the log a day or two later.
