Hello Havenites!

First of all, I received a high volume of applicants for the helper position and, due to the size of the game and not wanting to overwhelm a helper, I decided to take on three. I'm still waiting to hear back from two of them, though, so I will make a separate official announcement when I've talked to all three.

Now, onto the event...

It's almost time for the February event, and I hope you're all as excited as I am. This is a lengthy event, which is mostly to give OOC breathing room at each stage of the event. This event will contain some plot reveals and will effect the whole game, meaning there are no specific sign-ups.

The first stage (Mon-Thurs) will mostly be pre-reveal, the second stage (Thurs-Sun) will be setting and some smaller plot reveals, the final stage (Mon-Tues) will be larger plot reveals. I will summarize the stages below, but some things will remain secret until the event day, and all things will be expanded and explained at the relevant posts.

Stage One (Starting Monday 7pm EST - Ending Thursday 7pm EST)
The event will begin with an OOC Post on Monday at 7pm EST. After this, several things will begin happening gradually over the next three days. The monsters in the subway will begin finding their way into the town again and will congregate mainly around the well, which effectively cuts off the water supply to the town. The creatures still inside the subway will have multiplied exponentially, and will now be medium-high level monsters from all canons (compared to the lower ones from before). Food and drink can still be fetched from Haven North if a character survives the journey there and back. Snails will begin to be found in the apartment block, and the phones will begin to glitch into static at random.

Stage Two (Starting Thursday 7pm EST - Ending Monday 7pm EST)
This stage of the event will begin with an IC Post on Thursday at 7pm EST, there will be an accompanying OOC Post on Friday 7pm EST. The well will collapse in on itself and the whole surrounding area will fall to reveal a whole new section of Haven. This area is called The Haven and full details on its setting will be revealed at the time of the event post.

Stage Three (Starting Monday 7pm EST - Ending Tuesday 7pm EST)
This stage of the event will be a final IC Post on Monday at 7pm EST, with an event closing announcement OOC Post on Tuesday 7pm EST. The details of this stage will be revealed at the time.
