why hello there haven long time no see

I MEAN hello, hello! My name is Crystal, and a few months ago I RPed in this game ever so happily until life decided to punch me in the face. Which was not fun. But anyways, I am back now, and I'm bringing back two (2) characters in to throw at you all. Both will remember their previous stay in Haven, so all the more fun for them.

The first one is a clockwork angel named Cheriour who has...well, he has clocks for eyes. No, really. But he is very cheerful about this and will basically be polite and nice to everyone ever because he loves humanity just so darned much!! Also, he kills people in his spare time, but no need to worry, he only kills the bad people because God told him to and he is totally not a merciless vigilante while doing so. Not at all. He's a little bit weird, but as long as you don't do anything horrible, he'll probably want to be your bestest friend ever. Anyways, he will be hanging out in apartment #3.003!

The second one is a man by the name of Keats from a hidden gem of a video game called Folklore. He's an occult journalist from Ireland who...actually doesn't believe in the supernatural, despite the fact that a) he has powers that allow him to beat up small armies of creatures with his bare hands, and b) he has actually been to the world of the dead and has basically witnessed numerous pieces of evidence for the existence of the supernatural. Basically, he's as stubborn as a bull when it comes to being a skeptic, and is otherwise a sarcastic, smug jerk who sticks his nose into everyone's business because he wants a story to write about like nothing else. He'll be in apartment #2.008, and an important note here: IF YOU AREN'T AFRAID OF SPOILERS FOR FOLKLORE, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE GO OVER TO THIS PERMISSION POST AND FILL IT OUT FOR ME. There's...a certain secret about Keats that even he doesn't know about, and it really plays a crucial part in how he interacts with other characters.

+1 Not-quite-so-evil-anymore demon

Hi Haven! I'm Jay. I am new here, but I also play this breezy over at

paradisa. Meet Meg Masters, demon, of the Supernatural variety! Looking forward to playing with the rest of the SPN cast here as well as everyone else! :)

Meg's canon point is almost completely up to date - Post 7x23 Survival of the Fittest, prior to 8x17 Goodbye Stranger, so she'll be fresh out of being held captive by Crowley - you know, after helping you losers get into SucroCorp to stick it to Dick ;) Given that everyone else is from a significantly different canon point, I would imagine this is going to be incredibly interesting from the get go! Naturally, since there were openings, I couldn't resist sticking her in apartment #2.005 with ~~Clarence~~ end-verse Cas.

Meg is in a weird place at this point. She's still a demon, but she got a serious ego check when the apocalypse was derailed and essentially had the cause she'd spent the vast majority of her existence fighting for ripped out from under her. With Lucifer locked back in the cage and a regime change in hell, she's been on the run. Unfortunately as of late she's been held captive and tortured by the current King of Hell, after sticking her neck out to help team free will, no less. She's still snarky and cocky and kind of a bitch, but she's been softened a little bit by the fact that she has feelings for a certain angel in a trench coat. Needless to say, meeting a different version of him is going to be a little hard for her.

/Rolls on in here

Hello everyone! I'm Heatchi (Kitten in some crowds. WHATEVER WORKS), and I am total fresh meat and excited to join the game. I've heard great things! So uhhhh...right! Because there aren't (already) enough vampires in the game, I'm going to be bringing you one shoujo pureblood vampire princess, Yuuki Kuran from the manga Vampire Knight! She's having a rough time at the moment, and coming in from a point in time she's been kept in a basement for six months and struggling with her vampirism. I wont even get into her love life to just spare everyone from bashing their heads against a wall.

But a few things to know! Despite being angsty right now she's actually super sparkly, has a good sense of right and wrong (except in regards to how people treat her I guess :/), has a brother complex/is kind of engaged to him/actually he's her grandpa or something. Also love triangle. Also she loves parfaits, cute things, and is kind of stupid. She's living and has never been dead because vampires are born in her world (usually!). So she'd just side eye someone so hard if they splashed her with holy water and wonder wth someone was doing with garlic. She's immortal and has just a crap ton of abilities, so to prevent from anything getting out of hand...

Please please please check out her permissions post! She loves people so she doesn't plan on biting anyone or intentionally hurting or using them, but you never know with events and such, so you might need to check off multiple things! She's been placed in apartment room #1.007 so I am looking forward to meeting her roommates! I'm familiar with their canons so that should be fun!

Hi! I'm KJ, and I'm bringing in Nami to join the One Piece cast and...make sure they don't...burn down the place? Ahaha. She's a cartographer, navigator, and thief, and she has a staff full of magical weather powers which she'll swear to you is science, because One Piece. This place will drive her nuts with its lack of writing, and I'm a sadist and looking forward to it already.

my name's maddie and i'm bringing in my first character, tris prior from the divergent series, a trilogy of young adult novels! she's a teenage girl from a dystopian society where people are placed in factions based on their values and strengths. her faction is particular is known for bravery and daring, but she's always good at selflessness and cleverness. for those who know the canon, she's from near the end of the first novel and her pb is saoirse ronan.

helloooo there, haven! you can call me nikki! uwu i'm a fresh newbie with one cutie patootie in tow. this is clear of dramatical murder fame! for those who don't know him, he's a bit of a spontaneous weirdo, but he has a heart of gold. he'll cook, clean, and do whatever he can for you! Hello, Haven! I'm Pikari, and today I'll be bringing Akari Taiyou from Genei wo Kakeru Taiyou, also known as that magical girl series with dark undertones! Anyway, Akari is a magical tarot user who is able to control the powers of the sun, so she will apologize for all the growth of plants in their apartment, especially if you're living in the third floor, or even more specifically, #3.001.

You gonna eat that?

Hey, horrors of Haven. Newbie here bringing you a magical girl who likes to eat, drink, and be merry! As Mami-mun may have mentioned, Puella Magi Madoka Magica is a joyful show full of hearts and rainbows!

Actually, Kyouko is pretty messed up. Thanks indirectly to the wish she made to become a magical girl, her father killed her whole family and then committed suicide himself. (Whee!) What we have here is a teen with a heavy survival instinct, who's come to the conclusion that she can only ever use her powers for herself. She's a little rude, a little self-loathing, and apparently a lot hungry: good luck catching her without some sort of food in her mouth. (If you know the show, this Kyouko is from the end of episode 7.)

An alligator ate me, now I must... atus?

Hello, Haven!

For those who don't know, I'm Jes and I play Anri from DRRR!!. I'm suffering from a rather significant RP burnout right now, as well as voice issues, not to mention October is going to be a busy month in general so I'll be hiatusing for the entire duration. Having been mercifully killed by Ciel during the event's climax (although not yet threaded out that far, we are slow and adorable), she will be missing from Haven until November. I will still be backtagging old threads, like I do, just very slowly, like I do.

Have some puppies that accurately reflect my mental state right now. :D

+1 vampire hunting vampire

Hey, all! My name is Alsie, I'm brand new to Haven, and have brought in Zero Kiryuu, of the manga Vampire Knight. As the subject states, Zero is both a (born) vampire hunter, who was turned into a vampire when he was younger. So basically he has heightened/inhuman senses, strength, and a number of other things, as well as on the difficult side to really kill.

Also, his canon point (in addition to being very drastic from Yuuki's) is from chapter 93 - the last one; to those familiar with the series, he'll be coming from about a month after the ice tomb.

Anyway. He will be in apt 3.005. He's not the best at living/rooming with others, but we'll see how that goes. :')

LASTLY, Zero is rather (hyper) sensitive to picking up on things like non-humans (esp vampires) and blood, amongst other things. If you could take a moment, I'd really love if you could take a look at/leave a comment on his permissions post! It'd be much appreciated.
