I feel bad about this, but I'm going to be dropping rping for a while (temporarily or permanently, not yet sure) due to a number of factors (nothing bad! just priorities, I guess) that I should've focused on ages ago but never really did. I'll also be non-existent on plurk for those who I talk to on there since it's distracting as well.

Hey all, Froda here! This is just a real quick PSA to let folks know that as of yesterday, Joel is canon updated! His previous canon point, for those familiar with the game, was the end of the Winter section. His new canon point is post-game!

So for anyone who might've noticed, Joel was in a coma all day on Saturday, and woke up yesterday! His new canon point probably won't change much in his day-to-day interactions, except in pretty subtle ways, but for those who may want to get an idea of what it means, you can read about it here, which, needless to say, spoils the end of the game!

Also feel free to let me know here or via PM or whatever if you do not want spoilers for endgame - I will do my best to accommodate.

Hello Havenites!

So it’s event time again, and as you can see from this IC post, it’s kicking off with a restless night’s sleep. All characters will fall into a deep sleep once the fog has rolled in - characters astute enough to notice before falling asleep, might see the fog is coming from the direction of South. Once asleep, all characters will experience the nightmare detailed in the IC post. This will be a sharp and clear vision, with true pain and sensation, rather than a dreamlike separation from the event. This nightmare will be revisited every time a character falls asleep until stated differently. When characters awaken, the fog is still there but not very thick. It is thicker towards the sinkhole and it is at its thickest by the door made of bone, metal, and wood with a spiral emblem. Attempts to get rid of the fog using the weather machine will not be successful, as it is not a naturally occurring fog.

The next stage of the event requires sign ups and will be more intense with a variety of options to hopefully appeal to everyone. An explanation of sign ups and what they entail is below, but before then, here is a brief run down on the event timeline:

Monday June 2nd (today)
Sign ups open for the next stage of the event, as well as the already posted IC mingle and OOC information posts.

Wednesday June 4th
Sign ups will close at 7pm EST and all involved characters will be contacted with further information.

Thursday June 5th
IC and OOC posts will be made to explain the next stage of the event, along with contributions from the signed up characters.

Saturday June 7th
IC and OOC posts will be made to explain the final progression of the event, this section will be influenced by player plotting in the second part of the event.

Monday June 9th
An OOC post will be made to detail the end of the event.

For stage two of the event, which will commence on Thursday, there are sign ups which will close on Wednesday 4th June, 7pm EST. Characters who sign up for this stage of the event should have at least some availability to tag during the event, although it is not necessary to sign up to take part in the event, as some changes will be available to everyone regardless of sign ups. Characters who sign up for stage two of the event may become altered temporarily, in a physical, mental, or emotional state. If you would like to volunteer for the second part of the event, please fill out the following form and reply to this comment.
