Hello Havenites!

Everyone was certainly productive during the last event, there were corpses everywhere. But it's time now for those corpses to come back to life, as you can see by this IC post. Unfortunately, what the killers and those left alive didn't know, is that the dead weren't really fully dead.

Anyone who died in the labyrinth, either by being killed by another character or by failing to make it out in time, will have remained conscious 'after death'. This means they will have been able to see, feel, hear, smell, all that was going on around them, they just will have been devoid of signs of life and been unable to move or speak. This means they will remember any desecrations to their 'corpse', such as looting or scavenging, and will remember the odd and unpleasant sensation of beginning decomposition.

After the tunnels collapsed and the air was depleted, a different exit opened and rubble was cleared to allow soldiers to come and begin piling the bodies onto large vans. A woman in a pink skirt suit, with one false leg, was overseeing the proceedings. She spoke to the 'dead' characters in a South African tone, and said,

"So these are the failures, hm? I hope you've learned something from all of this, from watching the winners, my honeys, so that you won't make the same mistakes again. You lost today, and maybe you'll always be losers, but don't worry... we still have uses for losers."

As soon as she finishes speaking, the van doors are closed and all 'dead' characters will black out and remember no more until waking up. The brands that characters now have on their cheeks are as if the result of a branding iron, not a tattoo. They can be lessened physically by healing arts, but cannot be got rid of altogether.

If you have any questions, just let me know here! Thank you for taking part in this event, which foreshadows and affects the anniversary event, and I hope you all enjoyed it.
