really sorry to be doing this in the middle of the event, but life's kicking my ass (which is a typical september for me). i have a con, two jobs, and a bridal shower in october to deal with, so i need to take a step back from rp for a little while. i've also been kind of unmotivated, so i think this is a good time to recharge.

Hello, Group Two!

As you can see from this IC post, another new NPC has come to stay with the residents. This is Jonas, and some residents might remember him as a rebel who last visited them a long time ago, and who has been captive for a long time.

But he is not the only change to come to the jail today. With the morning announcement and the introduction of Jonas into the cells, other things immediately alter. A smell of burning and smoke is strong from within the exercise yard, and faint alarms and shouts can be heard throughout the day on higher floors and through the closed door at the end of the rec room. The main change that will come to the inmates of the jail is that no more food will be delivered on schedule each day. They will be able to get water from the showers to keep from dehydrating, but their food supply will be limited to anything they have saved from other days - but hey, if they get desperate, they can always pick off the weakest inmates, right?

The NPC post that is up now can also be used as a mingle with these new effects, or to discuss the previous display of the Uzumaki ritual.
