calling all havenites: attack on haven (aka THE RAID part 3)
Maybe you've heard legend spoken of several foolhardy attempts to investigate Haven's mystery and wonder... and maybe you're wondering how you -- yes, YOU! -- can get in on such dangerous action!!
Well, here's your chance -- for come one and all for the third attempt to dig into Haven's bloody, potentially traumatic and ~mysterious~ underbelly! If you're wondering what in the world I'm talking about, this will be another shot at a player plot that goes by "the raid," otherwise known as "people trying to get inside the boarded-up Convenience Store." They've tried twice so far, and learned a little bit more about it for their efforts (at the heavy cost of human life and nightmare fuel, of course). If you're interested in reading up on the previous raids, you can do so HERE and HERE!
Are you interested in getting involved? Then here's the low-down:
The raid will be split into two parts, this time: one, the group actually going inside the store (a small group as per request from Blue, because things get very chaotic/messy and demanding on her too!) of approximately 6 characters, and two -- everyone else who'll be launching the first ever attack on THE HAVEN (since Blue and I definitely wanted to make sure anyone who wanted to get involved, could, for sure!). This will be a "distraction" as per Edward's plan, but turn into something much bigger than that.
This is where the disclaimer comes in.
Volunteering your character for any part of this event has a HIGH LIKELIHOOD of resulting in physical or emotional trauma, up to and including DEATH. Effects may last for several days. If you aren't okay with that, it's okay! This player event is entirely opt-in.
Now, onto the specifics:
THE HAVEN attack: The attack on THE HAVEN will consist on characters moving in and stealing the computers from the Town Hall. Their goal will be to transport them through the tunnels to Haven North in an effort to set them up in the library there (where there's power and other computer terminals to be cannibalized) and find out what they do/what's on them.
This won't exactly go to plan.
The STORE infiltration: Edward & Alphonse will be taking a few people inside with them at the same time that things will be going down in THE HAVEN, using it as a distraction to hopefully divert the attention of whoever's watching and increase their chances of success. The group so far consists of Ed & Al, Estelle and Hakaze (for magic buffs and support) -- and have 2 more spots open. We're looking for capable and reliable fighter types who they would trust to have their backs (aka no one who they suspect is villainous or who has some dark history of being possessed or going insane that could crop up inside [IT HAPPENED LAST TIME]), and ESPECIALLY someone tech oriented!! Right now Mikoto is tentatively filling this spot, but since we also need tech people for THE HAVEN's computers, we really need everyone with tech experience we can get! Please let me know if you fit the bill.
The date for the raid is Friday, May 3rd.
If you're interested, then get right on board to digging around in Haven's plot. If we're lucky, maybe we won't all die horribly before we find something interesting. (We can dream, right?? Right.......)
