Important Announcement and Ejected List
Hello Havenites!
It has been decided to close the poll regarding applications early, as the vote currently stands at 100% in favour and 0% against with over half the playerbase voted. This means that applications will move to a monthly cycle after March.
How it will work is as follows:
-> Applications will open to be submitted on the second Friday of a month.
-> Applications will then be open for a week and processed on the third Friday of a month with the intro mingle being the following day, as usual.
-> Reserves will open on the third Saturday of a month, the day after applications are processed, and will remain open until the second Sunday of the following month, when applications open once more.
-> Events will generally be in the first or second week of a month.
This means that neither applications or events will fall close to the end of a month to assist with AC during the month, and that as all applications will generally be accepted after the 15th of a given month, new players will automatically now be exempt from AC on the month of their arrival.
As this means reserves will be open for most of the month, and only closed during the one week applications are open, reserves will now count until two days after applications open (the second Sunday of a month), in order to give other applicants the chance if reserves are not used. The reserve page will be updated to display this change after reserve dates begin to extend beyond the last March application processing date (March 28th).
The event this month would have been a highly intensive one - however, as we are not implementing this system until next month (in order to be fair to the applications and reserves currently in the queue), that event will most likely be run in April and a different, less intensive (but still plot relevant) event has been designed for March.
The calendar page has been updated to show these changes and is now accurate. As you can see, March will progress as previously planned, and then the new system will be brought in as of the beginning of April. The other relevant information pages have also been altered - however, if you notice any discrepancies that the moderators have missed, please let us know!
In additional news, we have unfortunately lost Tater as a helper, due to real life circumstances. We will not be bringing in an additional helper to assist with Pyramid Head interactions, as Ruki will be stepping up and assisting Marion with that instead.
