This is painful to type so I'll keep it short. I'm dropping Malkus here. I'm horribly sorry to those he had CR with, and I've loved every thread! But things have gone a bit off and I need to vanish for awhile.

On the slightly bright side, I do hope to come back someday! But with how much I've missed and how long I've been gone already, it's probably best to disappear and possibly try to start fresh someday.

I feel miserable for leaving, but I'd rather leave with a goodbye than just up and vanish without a word.

Hello Havenites!

We, as a game, have been growing at a substantial rate for quite some time now. And, while this is wonderful and I'm really happy to see so many people enjoying the game, it has been brought to my attention that this also has seen a massive increase in the speed of things, and between two intro logs per month and an event, people are beginning to fall behind or burn out.

As a consequence, we are suggesting to move applications to a monthly cycle. It will most likely therefore fall that there will be an app cycle on the second week of a month, and an event on the fourth week of a month to pace things out - this is not a hard and fast schedule, just an example, the exact timings will be hammered out if this is implemented.

As this would still leave one intro log and an event per month, as well as lots of player posts and logs, the AC will remain the same. But this is where you come in, as all major changes are run by you first. Please vote in the following poll once only, before Wednesday 12th, 7pm EST. The majority vote will be honoured - however, if the votes are very close, or tied, the mod team will discuss which option we feel will better serve the game.

I'm about to take week's holiday for my birthday and will have limited internet access while I'm away, and on top of this recent RL stress has sapped my energy and drive for RP, so I'm calling hiatus from today until the 24th of March. With any luck the holiday will be enough of a break to relieve some stress and I'll be back sooner than anticipated, though!! I'll backtag any ongoing threads I have once I return from hiatus, though if people want to plot out the outcomes of threads with me beforehand I'm happy to talk it through with you. If your character appears on the warned list, it's either because of a failure to comment to the AC post or an insufficient amount of activity provided. In this post, you may submit either of the following:
